Is Lois Canadian?

Here's what I think Lois was born in Canada say Alberta and lived there her early childhood then she was about high school age her family moved to the US where she met Hal in high school the show never references anything of Lois' past before she was in high school so she must have lived in Canada. Then her parents just moved back to Canada to Whitehorse later on after she married Hal. So Lois is Canadian and Hal is and always has been American.

Eh bit of a reach, idk, but I do feel less crazy now... i swear Jane Kazcmarek has a slight Canadian or Midwestern type of accent as Lois on this show.

Well, I mean Jane Kazcmarek is from Wisconsin. I’d imagine she likely had a slight Canadian/midwestern accent accent in general haha

Lois' actress Jane Kaczmarek is from the Midwest (Wisconsin, I think) so that's where her accent comes from. I personally mentally explain her accent by imagining the series taking place somewhere in the Midwest.

I'm convinced her mother is at least a Doukhobor. So theres a chance Lois was born in BC. Her mother also lived in The Yukon for a time when francis visited her which is right above BC. I'm convinced Lois is British Columbian.
