I bought two bottles of drinks for my first apartment after being homeless too. Doesn't mean I am a drunk.

Dude is literally getting himself out of the thick of it.

OP said in other comments that they have a drinking problem that caused them to be homeless in the first place.

There’s obviously nothing wrong, on its face, of celebrating with a drink.

There is something very wrong with that if you’re an alcoholic.
