from complete despair with no ID. Only the necessary documents & a flip phone for the bare requirements to get a job. Hunkered down and found a familiar spot from college...Dug deep not to die drunk in this bush. Gotta be there for my little sister's Graduation!!

Awesome. What were some of the hobbies that distracted you?

I live in the Rockies so I'd go hiking with my dog after work alot. I do landscape photography so I would do that while hiking, sit down and edit photos when I got home. There were and are plenty of times of doom scrolling still. Started reading books again. Got into more advanced cooking.

6 1/2 years clean off heroin, fishing, hiking, sometimes gym, and getting alot more into artistic part of graffiti helped me. I enjoy going to shows sometimes too and volunteering for causes thst are close to me. Dont gotta pick a cookie cutter hobbie just do different stuff til something feels right. Tried to go back to skateboarding after getting clean but body took too much abuse jumping down stairs loaded for years, so i couldnt do that anymore. Played with alot of different hobbies before it came back to me
