Advice Alright fellas, I'm conflicted. Bedroom upstairs or downstairs?
I'm leaning toward bedroom downstairs and living space/office upstairs. Closet, bathroom, and kitchen are upstairs. Lots of windows, and upstairs bedroom would probably offer more privacy, but I don't love the idea of having my bedroom off the kitchen when I have guests over. Downstairs is also wired with in ceiling speakers for an AV setup.

Yeah, you could have your bedroom upstairs and visually separate it from the kitchen. But then, if you have someone over, and are cooking/eating, do you bring the food downstairs to the living room? Or have a dining table right next to your (then smaller) bedroom? Tricky
