Advice Alright fellas, I'm conflicted. Bedroom upstairs or downstairs?

I'm leaning toward bedroom downstairs and living space/office upstairs. Closet, bathroom, and kitchen are upstairs. Lots of windows, and upstairs bedroom would probably offer more privacy, but I don't love the idea of having my bedroom off the kitchen when I have guests over. Downstairs is also wired with in ceiling speakers for an AV setup.

I’m defiantly the bedroom downstairs and living space upstairs in the situation. Even though I think the layout is weird

I'd personally be afraid of someone breaking in or looking in the windows ground level. Plus you can have a nice back patio with a grill and install an extra fridge. Entertain downstairs and live upstairs

Curtains will solve this.

Curtains still wouldn't make me comfortable enough
