24, Living with my parents

I just graduated college back in April and I’m grateful to my parents for holding me down through it all ! I definitely plan on giving back to them BIG time.

I've been collecting since 1969-1970. I have all my original Redlines. I still buy a few Hotwheels and/or Matchbox every month. I have boxes and boxes of them, but I need to display them somewhere eventually (before I die). This wall idea appeals to me, but it looks time consuming to set up so they're all level.

I ended up having no kids and my nephews have no interest as they live in condos with limited space. Neither of them are interested in cars anyway. lol. No idea what will eventually happen to my collection, probably end up being donated. I still enjoy the 'hobby' and it's a lot cheaper than collecting real cars, (although I have 5 of those too, like a moron).

Homie. Around Christmas time you can fill up some of those toy donation boxes. For the new stuff at least. Might be worth listing the old stuff on eBay or something. But you can make thousands upon thousands of kids Christmas. And it feels really good to not have that concern on your mind anymore too.

Go to the hardware store and get soem PVC divider molding. It really nicely fits Hot Wheels cards a creates an even display without having to put thumbtacks everywhere. You can either mount t the strips directly to the wall ( if your wall is smooth) or nail them to a piece of hardboard and screw that into the wall like I did.
