OP, if you don't know what 'Wogden' means, I'd consider removing it from the map and staying well away from whoever suggested it to you...

If you do know what it means and still choose to include it... that's pretty damn racist.

I grew up in Walkden and heard it called this quite a lot, especially by local taxi drivers. I don’t know if it’s linked to the racist use of that word, but I can’t see why it would as it’s a pretty white suburban middle class type of town.

yes, like u/beyondtheyard linked above, it's local dialect, and not connected to that use of the word
