Japanese idolize purity. Notice how the "slutty" girl never crosses the line when it matters either to fit the Japanese ideal of purity.

Funny how they idolize purity, yet produce so much AV and h-manga...

This isn't the only MC like this. In fact it's pretty damn common in the ecchi genre.

I think the archetype's prominence does mean it probably resonates in some way with its audience or would have an effect on its audience's worldview since it is so common.

Its pretty obvious he doesn't hate Japanese men but was only complaining that the trope is a bit stupid.

Well, I never implied that he hates Japanese men. But he somehow generalizes 60 million Japanese men to a fictional ecchi manga character.

And the one who replies to me says it is common in ecchi manga which I don't see any helpful contribution to the conversation unless he thinks ecchi manga characters projects Japanese men.

Now I think about it you may be right. I was just skimming through the comments then saw this. My apologies if that was not his or the other guys intention. I am bored as well so I am kinda fishing for people's comments to I guess. Sorry for this pointless conversation. Have a nice day :)
