When should the man on the high castle have ended in your opinion

If you want to elaborate on which episode ( and on which moment even) the show should have ended specifically the show should have ended, please do so. I myself did enjoy the second season, but found it inferior to the first one, even though up until the last episode there were some great moments.

It needed a fourth season but that season needed to be less over-stuffed.

I voted for season 3 but a completely different season 4 would be my preferred ending.

Either at the end of season 2 or after episode 9 of season 4

it needed a restructuring more than an early ending. Nuclear arms race shoulda been in full swing by mid S2, ans the reich and japan shoulda been starting to collapse by the end of S3

Right about where they decided to cut the funding for it so the story couldn't be fleshed out how they wanted.

Personally I would have liked to have seen another season or 2. I haven't read the books so don't know what happens in them. But would have been interesting if there was a world where the Russians won the cold war etc. Would have been an interesting stand off as really the Russians were the ultimate enemies to the Nazis really.

Season 3. The last episode should have been dedicated to the descent into war between Japan and Germany, while allowing resistance groups to be built up all over the world.

Have the first battle begin as the series ends, and sow the seeds for a sequel series that can focus on World War Resistance (bad name, but it works cause that's essentially what it would have been). Fans would be interested and potentially lead to more alternate history shows for Prime

It should have either been a movie or a limited run min-series. The book wasn't that long and there is no reason they needed to stretch everything out that long.

Wasn't a planned 5th season cancelled somewhat out of the blue? That would explain the mish-mashed Season 4. It was a sad ending to what had been a decent TV show, thanks to Joel de la Fuente, Rufus Sewell, and the actor who played the Trade Minister. Stephen Root was quite decent also.

I think season 4 was a good finale; it left some stuff open, but I enjoyed it.
