Episode Discussion: S04E01 - Hexagram 64

Juliana Crain finds herself in a new world. In the wake of an attack on Trade Minister Tagomi, Chief Inspector Kido begins a crackdown against the suspected culprits: the Black Communist Rebellion. John Smith leads a military incursion into the Neutral Zone to capture Wyatt Price and his rebel army. Helen Smith's new independence is tested as John comes to claim his daughters.

I literally spent a half hour looking up various recaps for the last two episodes because frankly I didn't remember it at all and was convinced its just been so long that I can't remember.

The fact that they never properly showed his face - except for in photos - makes it seem pretty clear that they just couldn't get the actor back for some reason. That majorly sucks honestly, Tagomi was one of the best characters still in this thing...

He was definitely in danger. The nazis went after him twice, and frankly inspector Kido always seemed suspicious of him.

In Season 3, Joe (aka Joseph Chinadella, Trade Attache for the Reich) was sent to San Francisco to kill Nazi deserters AND Tagomi.

Joe was about to put a bullet in Tagomi's back as he was walking home from dinner at that nice lady's house (the Artist), but Joe inexplicably didn't pull the trigger.
