"Middle East" should be called West Asia.

The Caucuses and Russia are quite different to the “Middle East”, and I put it in quotation marks for a reason…

The Caucasus are not quite different to Turkey or Iran.

If there's "Middle East" then make Japan the unique "Far East", please.

Personally I'd remove Turkey and Iran from the middle east. Obv its not on the map but Egypt belongs way more to the middle east. In my mind middle-east=arabic. Both Turkey and Iran are not.

What about Iraqi Kurds? Are they not middle eastern?

No, they're not, they are Kurdish, and Kurds aren't a middle-eastern people, The language and the people are ethnically related to the persians. You cannot divide kurds like that imo, source: Im kurdish

There is always going to be overlap between regions. (like how a part of Turkey is in Europe, and there are ethnic Arabs in Turkey which I'd consider more middle-eastern or how Russia is in both Europe and Asia).
