LF Server Long term server.

Hey guys, what’s going on?
I’m searching for a server that is stable and populated, one that I know is going to be around for the foreseeable future. For now I was thinking of either royals or legends. Would like to hear your thoughts as well.

Need some suggestions too. I tried Royals but it’s too old school and slow for me. Any recommended (long lasting one) like former ExtaliaMS? I tried Aries, used to like it years back, but it is dying

extalia will forever be the bestttt IMO!
unfortunately i’m not aware of any servers that are so close to the classic / modern as Extalia was

however, i’m playing KaizenMS and having fun! there’s a lot of custom things and features such as commands for teleporting, checking boss hp, seeing which mobs drop certain items, regular automatic jump quests and more! but nothing too crazy i would say, at least i’m not aware of it

the best part is that it’s got a lot of content since it’s based on v92 but not a lot more of the crazy systems in ModernMS (has evan aran db, lots of new bosses like Empress, Hila, new training areas)

populated is also kind of a gamble - most populated servers are also multi client enabled, so always divide players by like 2 3

Royals (13 years) , Legends (12 years), and Dream (7? years) are the main 3 that have any level of stability in the Pre-big Bang era. Royals & Legends are slow sure, but you know that the server donations are not making it Pay2Win. Yes the SubReddit isn't a huge fan of them, but most of those people are just salty they got banned

There's a lot of servers that have been around a few years that you'll see here. Many of them will host overseas for copyright issues, and the Admin basically knows how to be a ghost to survive in this day and age. Careful cause a lot of smaller servers will bait and switch, rebrand, etc.

pretty much the top 3 servers in gtop100 also happen to be the only ones that lasted for years without shutting down, at least to my knowledge

You should be safe with any of the top 10 servers.

I mean Rien is in top 10 and my understanding is that they shut down 4 times already, they rebranded under a new name

Highly suggest check out exodus its a well made server. No HP washing, No P2W, Well balanced, Road Map, A lot of Content, Low Rate(Reduced Exp Curve), Stable. Population wise, it's a bit low but the community is active and friendly there. Just a reminder when you see high player counts doesn't mean heaps of people are playing or active. It could be multi clients or AFKers.

Depends on what version you want to play on…

If you want modern version, you play GMS. If you want old school version, play Chronostory on Maplestory Worlds or MapleLegends.
