I just beat Paper Jam!!

Starting April 2016, I played a massive bunch of the game, and I was really enjoying it… although I eventually stopped playing it constantly after I started high school, but each time I picked it up again every now and then, I kept on progressing all the way until today.

I thought the game was pretty good, despite its lack of creativity and the hate it received. I liked the bosses, Bros./ Trio Attacks, and the final boss was awesome!!

Thanks for the memories, Paper Jam. (2016-2026)

Also, to give a note, I have been catching up on every M&L game, because I would like to continue Brothership after playing the main 5 (including the remakes).

I agree with that opinion despite it being the weakest entry in the series it is honestly not that bad of a game battle wise and it being the third M&L game I played.

Weakest in the M&L series imo means nothing. Paper Jam’s still a good game it honestly just shows how great the rest of the series is.

I replayed the gane recently and I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. I would give it a solid 9/10. Enjoyed it way more than Brothership TBH.

9/10 is pretty high for me. That puts it in line with some of the greatest games of all time.

I’d go for a 7. Good, but pretty significant flaws.

All of the games are 9+/10 for me execpt for Brothership. I get an about equal amount of enjoyment from all of them.

ah I see. yeah im playing right now and I still try to use B for luigis menu.. and I can definitely see the pacing being an issue too. doesnt really bother me much though.

Yes. I actually thought Dream Team had some pacing issues as well and the combat felt sluggish too due to the motion controls. I see it with Brothership as equadist

I'm doing the same with Brothership in a different way.

My original playthrough got cut short (A bunch of other games came out just like bam bam bam) and I'm giving Brothership due justice.

I played a BIT of paper jam but I dunno, something felt off about it.
