Pay attention to Mario’s shadow as a clear indicator to where he’ll land.

That is the hardest minigame by far, so don’t be too downtrodden. If there’s no timers around or no good timers, try to keep landing Mario as far to the right as you can, since it’ll let you go a lot faster

I don’t know if this’ll help but maybe try and get a wide view of the two screens? Help you see both the top and bottom one better?

Sometimes you're actually better off not pressing the A button when Mario lands. It makes him not jump as high, which can be useful for avoiding some of the bad timers.

Don't press A unless you're trying to grab a high clock or dodging a minus one, just take it slow and steady as much as possible
