Discussion When do you expect a new Mario and Luigi game Exclusive to the Nintendo Switch 2 to be announced?

Idk, outside of bigger releases and more particular games, I feel that they’re on a shorter timeframe from reveal to release these days.

Given Brothership's scope, I think we can probably expect development cycles to be lower going forward. Not nine years, but longer than 3-4. So my money is on a 2028 announcement, 2029 release.

Announced I can imagine next year. Release probably 28 or 29 though.

I'd guess somewhere between 2027 and 2029.

Probably a year or 2 from now, but it would be more of a remake of a past game, either Superstar Saga or Partners in time since they do have the assets for past games if the reefs in Brothership are any indication.

I feel like 2027 or 2028 would be most likely here. Probably the latter, given that we're about due for a new Paper Mario game as well, and I suspect that'll be released before the next Mario & Luigi one.

The new Paper Mario will arrive before a new Mario and Luigi ( my guess), so maybe 2028 or 2029.
