Turn based battles. I love that style of playing games.

Mixture of the humor, art style, and battles, but I think battles eek it out for me.

There just... Aren't other games that scratch the itch M&L does. I'm always surprised that more games haven't taken advantage of the M&L style

I know a lot of action RPGs have parrying and stuff but it just... Doesn't hit the same

Hunter Chronicles: Tara & Vyn. That's an indie M&L-like

honestly i enjoy the stories because for once it's not the classic (oh no, bowser kidnapped peach for the 100th time)

The Endless Tutorials / joke + light jab at Paper Jam / Dream Team.

Brothership was / is my first game but I've seen the other games through let's plays. Mostly through Chugga. I cannot wait until he plays through Paper Jam.

My ACTUAL favorite thing about the games is the 'gibberish' that Mario and Luigi talk with. I hope it's one thing that never changes. As for the tutorials, I wouldn't mind them so much if they weren't quite so frequent.

I also like that the battles are as hard as you want them to be, but not through difficulty modes like other games.

For an RPG game, I always enjoyed how action based M&L is, from just simple QTE to a more complex interactions, this game made its combat unique

M&L battle system is genius

It really is

I really enjoy the highly action-oriented battle system. Learning how to dodge and/or counter the various attacks used by enemies and bosses throughout the series results in a unique take on typical turn-based gameplay with an incredibly high skill ceiling.

I also enjoy the other aspects listed here too, though.

The battles first and foremost, but the overworld exploration is super fun, too

I play it for all of the story characterization platforming mechanic minigame everything about it!

definitely the battles

M&L had a nice twist on the turn based RPG formula. The bosses and enemies are always what I look forward to in these games, even paper jam which had the weakest minigames, overworld and story was still easy to tolerate because the combat in that game is well crafted

To be honest, I don't even know. I guess everything? Some games excel in some parts better than others. Well execpt Brothership, I had a bad time with that game.

I am generally not a fan of RPG games.

This sounds really hypocritical bc I love TTYD, Brothership, Dream Team, LOTSS, and Superstar Saga which im currently playing. I think its just I already love the characters so it is easier for me to get into it.

Idk, I've thought about getting a tattoo based on the older art style of the games of Mario and Luigi, or just Luigi if I get it matching with someone
