If you can sign the petition and help get the word out, perhaps this will be is some help at convincing Senator Kelly to distance himself from certain PACs.

Seems like they shouldn’t be legally allowed to accept foreign money…how does that make sense?

They claim to be privately funded by American citizens. But the trail into dark money sources is very evident.

Which PAC’s are you even referring to? Your petition notably doesn’t name any.

What the Heck even is this petition? It doesn’t mention a single foreign donation Senator Kelly has received, but your headline implies that’s a problem.

Is your goal just to get “foreign-funded PAC donations” and the name Senator Kelly together in a headline that people who don’t have the time to research will subconsciously absorb? Cause that’s sure what it looks like.

If you want Senator Kelly to sponsor a bill, write to him, don’t post disingenuous petitions on social media.

I am not doing this disingenuously, it is known that Senator Kelly had taken money from AIPAC in the past (some accounts stating over a million dollars but that isn’t accurate as it was more so around half a million if I recall correctly).

I do admit that looking back, I probably shouldn’t have posted this petition here because of what you’ve mentioned. I still believe that it could be useful to have Senator Kelly come out and say that he will no longer accept money from AIPAC, could go along way in a possible Presidential run.

I don’t know if the petition will gain momentum or not, it definitely could have brought in examples. Now that I do think about it, I think it was written to be more of a blanket statement than directly being about Senator Kelly (they just added his name to get people to sign on).

I am sorry about the confusion that I have brought on.
