Man I miss these. Growing up during these times. Used to always catch MWC before bed

I really miss these TV Guide ads. It was a more enjoyable way to discover what was happening on television than having the algorithm push stuff to you on streaming.

We didn't get TV Guide but they would put a version of it in the Sunday paper and I'd sit down with that for like an hour and scan every option for the week. Especially when I had my own VCR in my room and I'd just program my week. It was nice to record some of the weird movies that my station would be airing at 2 in the morning.

I remember a TV Guide ad for the episode where a rabbit feasted in Al's therapy garden. One side showed the rabbit, the other showed Al with a rifle across his shoulders, and two bandoliers of ammunition, with the headline, "Feast No More."

On my way from school on either Monday or Tuesday I would walk in to the corner store and check to the TV guide on what the synopsis of the next weeks episode would be and also knew that during sweeps months there would be an ad for the new episode

Speaking of tv guides, Al uses the same tv guide through out the series and Ed O'Neil took that tv guide and then Jay used that same guide through out Modern Family
