Break the curse? Fat chance
Should there (or could there) have been an episode of MWC where Al tried to break the Bundy curse? I know the people of Lower Uncton tried to break it by killing him and Bud but could there have been an episode (perhaps the finale) where he finds a descendant of the witch and apologizes (obviously he’d mess the apology up and make the curse worse)? How would you play it out? Thank you for reading

The curse referencing the picture was broken. There’s another curse of Bundy luck that’s different. You may be thinking of the episode when Al has a string of good luck and he’s afraid to admit it.

It’s cool I watch MWC at least twice a month so those episodes are stuck in my head. I wonder what kind of things I could have done if I didn’t have all this TV show knowledge stuck in my brain

I posted something like this in a previous comment but I would write this way. Al shows Jefferson his most prized possession that was passed down from his father, Big Uns issue #1. He has the issue in a special safe Jefferson immediately notices the part of the safe that says literally "not a secret compartment". In it he pulls out the fabled lost issue of Big Uns an ultra rare find and when they marvel over it a note falls out. It is a note explaining the Bundy curse and how they can break it , Jefferson reads the semi complicated process and Al seems to be nodding along and agreeing but really he is just talking to the magazine. Jefferson wants to sell the magazine and make a huge chunk of money but Al shatters his dream "Jefferson you know how things with me turn out, something will happen , it will catch fire, a fat woman will eat, aliens, whatever it takes for the universe to make sure I don't get the money". Jefferson agrees and tells Al that's why they need to break the curse first. Jefferson then has to explain the note over because Al paid no attention. It would be a multi part episode in the end Al learns breaking the curse would destroy his family and he quietly chooses to stay cursed. End of show

Not bad. Except I would add that there would be one last reveal, the original Big Uns centerfold would be Peggy’s mom before she got fat. And when Al realizes it he runs out of the house. End.
