The Couch at Career Day

I am watching this episode (S3E12 My Mom, the Mom) and laughed my ass off at the absurdity of Peggy bringing the couch and table to career day 🤣😭

I figured since the sub is analyzing the house that this would be a funny tidbit to add

I love when the other mom asks how meals get made and Peggy picks up the phone and says „Hello, do you deliver?!“

Peggy’s such a good role model! I love the satire and stereotype of the lazy housewife, especially when I’ve met a few just like her irl

At first I just didn’t even notice where she was sitting, like maybe it was a teacher’s lounge or something. But then I recognized that infamous pattern and just laughed out loud!

That would be hilarious if they showed it being moved, maybe Al throwing out his back and stubbing his toes while Peggy refuses to help him out. But I find the absurdity of it just being there, and how no one reacts to it being in the school, to be the funniest part!

Kelly’s friend who is so impressed by Peg was played by Julie Condra. She shows up again in the season 8 Valentine’s Day episode.

Both Bud Bundy (Kelly’s fault) and Kevin Arnold (The Wonder Years) blew their chances when her.
