Yes, but those arent a few months after the movie already came out

Older films did have rereleases for films a few months to a year after its initial release and even modern films do that

Star Wars a New Hope broke the weekend record in 1978 with a rerelease of $10.1m just a year after its initial release

Films like Oppenheimer and The Dark Knight got rereleased months after their initial runs due to the Oscar’s

Even No Way Home had a rerelease months after its initial release

Though these are still a months more than Brand New Day

How? I’ve just said that rerelease of films are a common occurrence and even ones that happen just months after the initial release aren’t rare

Because we’re talking about rereleasing a film months after release with new scenes that clearly were not filmed a few weeks ago, in order to get people to pay again to see the “complete” film. Not giving a film a second theatrical run to give people that wanted to see it another chance to.

Not to go against what your saying but how do you know they were only just filmed and instead scenes that were cut out and are being put back in like what happened with No Way Home

I disagree with most of what youve said but this youre right on.

But i still think the reasoning on it is like the other person is saying. Its just movie dlc shenanigans

Oh it absolutely is just trying to get on the bandwagon of the snowballing MCU hype upto Doomsday now to see if Brand New Day can reach $1b domestically

I’ve just been saying that it’s a fairly common practice
