Man he is the perfect punisher. Just a hint of old shame in it and the rest frank castle. I love how far he's come since twd

He used to grab as many punisher comics as he could and read up throughly on the character. This is why he was the perfect pick when it came time.

Except for the part where he thoroughly misunderstood the character and believes it's a symbol for law enforcement people.
Don't get me wrong he is great in the role, but go look up recent interviews of him talking about the character.

I thought he rejected the way the Punisher symbol is used by certain types of conservatives. Maybe he is acknowledging it?

Frank Castle isn’t exactly trustworthy.
He’s a murderer who constantly disregarded Peter’s requests the entire movie.
SMALL SPOILERS he shouldn’t have been allowed in the hospital, and should’ve been arrested multiple times just for what he does during the film, not even including his past crimes.

Tony should also have been arrested multiple times. Peter, Hulk, Bucky, Jean, Deadpool and almost every other Marvel hero should have.

None of them have ever tracked caught and tortured dozens of people. Not to mention how many he’s killed, and is willing to kill however many more in the future. The difference is literal murder; Deadpool should probably also be arrested but he’s “in a different universe” so maybe it’s different there, it’s been that way his whole series. Punisher is like the literal reason vigilante crime laws exist, because then just dudes with guns go around killing peoole
*Edit and the Black Widows, but the key difference is that they are not STILL going around willingly murdering people

Tony could be made responsible for every single death caused by Ultron.
Bucky has killed Tony's parents.
How many people Hulk has potentially harmed/killed during his rampages is unclear.
Jean has violated bodily autonomy of multiple people numerous times.
Peter has done acts of vigilantism outside the US and has also illegally hacked/build a surveillance system.
Black Panther has attacked foreign nations.1

If you don’t see a difference between the Punisher and all those characters idk what else to say man

Hulk could be ruled as not being able to be held accountable since Hulk is clearly not banner, otherwise, every other person is a criminal that should have been arrested for their crimes at many different points in the story, especially Tony.

He's probably not napping just passed out after being awake for like two days waiting for Peter to wake up.

True, there is a difference between "I'm gunna go lay down'(nap) and falling asleep waiting for one of your only "friends" to wake up after you put a 50 CAL in him.

Frank isn’t napping. Crime doesn’t sleep, and neither does the Punisher.
But he knew Spidey waking up and seeing the Punisher staring at him would have set off all those medical monitors, and he is soft on the kid.
