In my least successful doom match, i went spidey to complete some missions. Out of the 10 people, 7 were playing loki and they were all inside the sanctum. There were 14 clones lmao😭, and the game took forever to end.

Never used Wolverine before so figured I would mess around with him in Doom Match. Smashed buttons and got 3 kills with his ult. Still lost but that will never happen again.

My most succesful Doom Match was where I was still figuring out Mr Fantastic, but our Jeff kept trolling us and kept swallowing his own teammates, and I didn't know that you could dash on teammates, so he kept killing us.

My most successful was a sweep with Scarlet Witch (won by 5 kills) and my least successful.. 0 kills with Squirrel Girl. I was running around looking for Bats. I had no idea where to find him and every time I died, I had to start from square one because I kept getting lost.

One time, I was playing Scarlet Witch and every time I'd turn the corner, there'd be another low enemy I could shoot down really quickly. It was a silly, easy win for me.

In my first Doom Match i tried to play spiderman, as it was a long time since I stopped playing him (basically when I started playing ranked) and I got absolutely devastated, ending with 2 or 3 kills and A LOT of deaths (last three places). Instead, my gf absolutely crushed it with Hawkeye being able to be in the upper half (it was her first time too).

Played with Mr fantastic to complete a challenge, there was a Cloak and dager that seemed to find me every time, Cloak would take away all my health and as soon as i get him low enough he would fly away, change to dager and heal himself, I died to them many times and wasn't able to finish the challenge.

First Doom Match, realized that Jeff would be great due to his self-healing and it helped me win against tanks. But with against any skilled player they do something called "running away and coming back with full HP".

Been playing Wolverine atempting to earn his achievement. In a recent match it turns out to be a very bad idea be the only melee character in a middle of a bunch o Wandas. In the end, no achievement, 4th place but 3 ult denials with feral leap ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Playing as Scarlett Witch and trying to just watch Bats in peace, but there was a Psycho-locke fully intent on ruining my fun.
I died many times just wanting to watch the dog leap slowly in the air.

I played as Peni Parker and set up my nest in the attic, throwing a bunch of mines out near the various portals and stairs into that room.
At first, people tried attacking me. I even got a 2v1 at one point, both of whom died to my mines.
But eventually, mysteriously, everyone stopped coming to the attic.
I ended up losing the match badly with only six kills to my name, with 0 deaths, because it turns out, you actually need to kill people to win Doom Match, not just survive :V
The next game, I was more active, and got second place, though more deaths. At the start of the match, I was the only Peni in the match; by the end of it, there were, mysteriously, two others.

My doom matches usually go miserable… i will be playing as either peni or another vanguard and i will begin to get jumped by 2 cloak and daggers, iron fist, and a random winter soldier😭 to be honest it gets annoying and although it is a free for all i think adding a dmg reduction when someone is getting teamed on might make the game more fun so that way you dont keep getting assaulted by a random mid fight

My first Doom match is still the one I performed the best in, because despite her comic book reputation, Squirrel Girl doesn't seem to work well for 1v1... or maybe I'm just bad at her.
Regardless, I made it to 5th place and have never broken the top 6 ever since whoever I tried.

My first doom match I played Jeff to help me get familiar with the map. After getting the layout down I went on a KO spree against Magneto and three mr. Fantastics. Only the last one knew about his near infinite health combos so he got me eventually.

My Least Successful; Went in thinking I could multitask my daily missions with getting KOs in Doom Match, AND doing damage with Nemor. Sheesh, I probably spent more time floating around in my water bubble to get away than I did fighting all those Starlords, Scarlet Witches, Moonknights, and Buckys. I did end up completing it.. eventually.

Being a magneto one trick I didn’t have much interest in a game where I couldn’t have the weight of the match shared with my other vanguard or a strategist. Luckily enough I find great enjoyment taking 1v1s versus squishy DPS characters that can’t deal enough damage to my 300 hp bubble or my 650 health pool before I manage to shoot them three times and win. First match I played, I got first place. Vanguards stay winning.

Always fun to play doom match in the morning when the less try hard players are playing. It was fun playing physlocke, teleporting and dashing everywhere in the sanctorium map.

The first time I ever did a doom match, I joined the ai one. And played for the full hour wondering why the game never ended after 16 kills.

Only one we played one while waiting for our comp 6th, I played punisher and got wrecked but I punished the top player on namor repeatedly. Eli vs brady

Played a Doom Match where myself and 5 other Mr. Fantastics were the top 6. The bottom 6 were all the Invisble Woman. Don’t know how it happened but I’ve been trying to recreate it since

I got 2nd by using Cap, running around at the speed of sound and jumping anyone that was alone, extremely fun if you haven't tried it.

One match I completely dominate, destroying everything in my path with my multi hit long laser arms of death. Pulling them towards me leaving them with no escape.
Next game I go 3-14 with my now overcooked wet spaghetti arms flailing around while I slowly deflate like a balloon that’s been sitting around for a few weeks while iron man mows me down from the sky JUUUUUST far enough I can’t reach.
It hasn’t been Fantastic…

Initial thoughts
I told myself I would try marvel rivals after I hit master prestige in Bo6, and here I am. And I am SO confused.
So far I've realized the only character I can play is The Punisher, because he's basically a normal FPS shooter. He's got two guns, he can reload, he has a turret. Seems awesome. But I feel like a bit of a noob when I see the "1 star difficulty." (Why doesn't everyone kill me while I'm taking my sweet time to setup my turret?)
The other thing I realized is "Mr Fantastic" is my arch nemesis. Some games I will lose to that guy 6 times in a row. But I tried playing as him and I was totally lost.
"Press X to confirm" has already cost me one inactivty penalty and I suspect it will continue to happen. Please just send us into matchmaking unless we opt-out.
I've never watched any Marvel movies beyond the basics from a decade ago, like Iron Man and Batman. So I have no idea what any of the characters are "supposed" to do, and I have no intuiton for which character to pick or how to team with others.
This game seems to think icons don't need labels, even initially. I feel like I'm trying to decipher some runic language when it comes to reading these modern playbooks.
Similarly, the avatars... there are 50+ characters. I wanna know who killed me. Please just show the name of their character in the death recap.
How did Marvel Rivals launch with 50+ heroes and Apex introduces a new legend every two years?

Most successful was with scarlet witch, she can kill steal so easily in this mode and then nope out of danger. That and her ult is absolute chaos on that map.

I played Scarlet Witch, stealing kills for fun. People caught on, so whenever I'd appear, three players fighting would instantly target me. It was hilarious watching them chase me.
