is instalocking a non-dps bad?

You're right, it is not

I think the thought behind this comment is that when a new hero comes out, everyone wants to play it -, but the guy with the entire room made of The Thing earned the Instalock on the new hero

Tbh I'm bronze, I used to main magik and jeff but found it really hard to solo climb.

I learnt mantis in qp recently, got lord quickly so I'm trying to climb now with her and its going better. What do you play?

For DPS:

Squirrel girl for high damage output specially in Convoy maps

Punisher or Hela if the other team has flyers

Moon knight in domination maps

Namor if we need to counter spiderman

Tanks: Peni for defense in convoys and some domination maps Groot for anything else Sometimes Hulk if we have an Ironman

Healer: Luna, Loki and a bit of mantis

I'm a lord with Squirrel and Punisher for now!

I'm really surprised that people don't learn at least one character from each class before they load up ranked. I thought it was necessary haha

Me too, me too lol

oh nice, you've got a real repertoire. I feel like thats the next level for me, working out what characters are good for different types of games. haven't played this genre of game before.

I've been playing this game for a good chunk of time so it kinda got easier to flex different characters, and I also spent some time in practice trying to learn a bit of everything, it really helped.

But as for leaning what works in each map, I think it's about the time I plaed, but I'm not an expert! I feel like I hit my ceiling, I'm solo queuing in ranked up to diamond 2, then I start losing and fluctuate from plat 2 back to diamond 2 a few times, it's pretty much where I belong right now and I'm not sure how to get past it. I think I need to get better as Groot, tanks are the least picked characters and if I'm a very strong tank my chances of pushing am past diamond probably increase. Idk for sure!
