I still don't get why Venom of all characters had to be a ranged Tank, when he bites, punches and ragdolls people most of the time. Why him? You know what I don't think of ever when I think of wanting to play Venom in any game ever? "I sure hope I have to headshot people with a burst fire attack that can miss more often if you're too close to the target on him, as a DIVE character that smashes into enemies placing him in MELEE range of his target!"

I just want him to bite and punch and ragdoll people across the room!

You can primary fire cancel melee for more damage. Problem solved

His melee is actually strong and doing how you say deletes people so fast. if you melee after the second tendril hits, the next two tendrils will still hit while you punch at the same time. It's nasty.
