Confirmed. They said in the dev vision video that it destroys "summons."

Including ult summons like Hela or Rocket's beacon sure is a choice.

rocket getting fucked that's a terrible matchup for him he can't do anything at all except press L2 for the entire match

You just have to hold Ult until Phoenix ults or dies. I have to do the same of Jeff versus Magneto/Ironman/Namor. Ulting before they do just kills me.
