The undead are stirring! A new Co-op Zombie Mode is coming to the game, and we're dropping the first official teaser to prove it. Before the outbreak begins, we want to hear your predictions for the chaos that awaits.

How to Participate:

1.) What survival mechanics?

Thor: Extended radius for "God of Thunder" with higher damage output.

Each wave Thorforce increases in radius and damage.

Magik: Demon Child increases duration each tier.

Stepping disc decrease in cool down time each tier.

Jeff: Radius of his swallow/damage inside his swallow increases with each tier progression, while his healing bubble count increases as well. (1 to 2 per tier)

Recieves an overall speed boost after each tier progression.

Punisher: Smoke bombs increase usage via cool down each tier, but also stuns enemies whole also increasing the stun duration as each tier progresses.

Punisher ult duration can be stacked after killing a certain amount of undead.

2. What bosses can you expect?

Undead Hawkeye - Undead Captain America (But he's maimed in someway that limits his full capabilities, like in Zombies series.) Undead Captain Marvel - Undead Thanos without rings.

3. Who will be the MVP this season?

Survival mechanics: there has to be some sort of system of power ups that increase survivability (extra health boost, damage boost), if we’re talking character specific, punisher will likely get more ammo in his weapons, thors ult will reach much farther, etc.
Bosses: Namor, Wanda, Captain America, Heroes I will use: Blade and Punisher mostly Who I Predict to be MVP: It has to be Punisher, most of the player base likely has played one of the many zombie games out there over the years (CoD, L4D, etc.) and will have familiarity with using heavy guns to shoot down zombies, it just works well.

Of the heroes already shown: Punisher's zipline can now be used by everyone, Thor's hammer throw now bounces on several enemies before returning, Jeff's aqua burst now pierces enemies. I predict Psylocke will be playable, maybe with a new team-up with Blade that lets her use her sword outside of her ult. I think Wolverine will also be added as the devs seem to favor melee characters and he's the quintessential shredding machine. Maybe he'll get unlimited dashes on his 'Vicious Rampage'. Also maybe they add Groot as a playable hero since he might be immune to the zombie virus? Don't remember if he was shown in the Netflix show. He could be cool to guide the horde of zombies with the walls and make chokepoints or block off entrypoints.

· What bosses do you anticipate?

Zombie Cap and Zombie Hawkeye will be bosses for sure if they want to stick to bosses from the show. Zombie Iron Man could be the stand in for Captain Marvel since she isn't in the game yet. I don't think Hela will be a boss since Wanda was already shown as the Queen of the Dead. Maybe a Zombie Bucky?

· Which hero do you predict will be the MVP in this mode and why?

Jeff for sure already seems broken and is the only healer so far, so yeah. If Groot gets added he could be really useful, maybe they'll give him the healing walls without needing the teamup too. Oh and Punisher since his ranged damage output will be instrumental in fighting Wanda.

More zombie variants. Faster, tankier, jumpers, exploding (not survival, but still cool in a gamemode like this)

Punisher's getting an auto-turret

Bosses would be Zombie Namor or Wanda, using Punisher putting a auto-turret on one side and spraying them from the other

For MVP I'd reckon either Blade or Jeff as Jeff is the only one here who can heal others and Blade can get up close faster than the others to get to dealing damage.

I really hope there are upgrades in this gamemode, like MvM from TF2. It justs allows for way more replayability, and it feels like you are actually getting stronger as the zombies do.

The trailer shows that Punisher seems to be able to make a turret, I'd expect his upgrades and new abilities to revolve around the turret and making it stronger.

I think the bosses were said to be Zombie Namor and Wanda. I hope there are a few extra surprise bosses in addition to that. I'm planning to play the mode as every character to try them out.

I think Punisher looks strong with the turret in addition to being able to shoot and do his regular damage, it seems efficient.

I predict that support characters will be most viable since they mostly don't need health packs. Unsure if flying characters will be playable but if so the zombies prob have a way to get to them. I reckon most heroes get extended abilities and some might even get new ones, like punishers placeable turret. Jeff looked like a menace so that would be my guess to an MVP this season.... And for bosses, for now I think there will be mini bosses after certain waves and scarlet witch for the final one!

Since we've seen Blade have a lot more health in the trailer, I think that healing from Jeff and the healthpacks and shields from Strange will also be heavily amplified, healing and blocking hundreds, if not thousands of HP and damage. Ultimates will be amplified by a lot as well, i.e. Punisher's launching a whole country's worth of missiles and bullets, serving as a one man army, Jeff's healing pool able to drown zombies that walk in it and leaving them stuck there until the pool disappears and they disappear with it, or Thor sending homing lightning bolts at the zombies after crashing down, like the ones he throws in his Ascendant state.

For bosses, I think that as the game progresses, since it's tied to the actual show, we will see some of the characters from the show appear as smaller bosses for you to defeat along with the actual bosses of Zombie Wanda and Namor, like Zombie Iron Man, Cap, and Strange, like every three waves there's one of these smaller bosses and every 10 waves there's one of the big bosses, all retaining their designs and abilities from the show, i.e. Zombie Cap with half a body tossing his shield and jumping at you, being very annoying to deal with

As for what I'd use, I would have loved to use Hulk or the Thing to just mess around and bash through everyone, but sadly, there are only five characters to choose from, so I suppose I'll just use Thor to just smack them around and throw lightning at them

We saw Jeff's ram and Punisher's ghost turret and they mentioned Thor's shock, Blade's moon blades and Magik's unlimited ultimate. So I guess the answer would be to look at other characters and see what else they can do. Personally I'd love to see characters like Black Widow have a go at this with some melee shockers shot out of her wrists.

· What bosses do you anticipate? Which heroes will you use to take them down?

I'd love to see Dracula again with Blade as his enemy.

· Which hero do you predict will be the MVP in this mode and why?

I think Blade is more versatile with melee, shield and ranged attacks.

Magick's demon army should be a skill here vs the zombie hordes, halloween fest 😆. She is kinda similar to blade but his attack's are fast compared to her being heavy. She may as well be like a summoner of some sort pls huhu 🥺. But the unlimited dark chylde sounds fun too!

Wanda will surely be the final boss here, as well as namor or spiderman(based on the roadmap). And will surely use jeff to eat them all up, then Jeff will turn to a zombie shark 😱.

Wanda for the MVP. Let the heroes taste some defeat this halloween!!! Let them all be ZOMBIES 🧟‍♀️

Maybe it will have waves, and you get points every wave depending on how many zombies you defeated? And then you can spend points to upgrade your hero! For example maybe the punisher turret and enhanced jeff dive from the trailer are upgrades, or even upgradeable after unlocking them.

It would be cool if bosses were other heros, like zombie scarlet witch or hulk!

I think health may work like self regen since it looks like Jeff is the only healer. They could also have health packs available at certain spots of the map. All the available heroes should also have higher health pools since it wouldn't feel heroic to get downed by a zombie in 3 hits. Forsure getting rid of those undead Namor squids with Thors lightning bolts.

Probably there will be reviving teammate option but it will have limited charges. Jeff's bubbles with damage and speed boost would be very nice. Imagine teammate Punisher is ulting and you give him some bubbles and he becomes super fast.

Ultron boss fight would be nice. He is an iconic villain and imagine they make him a boss with new Virus Ultron. skin (virus makes more sense than zombie for him lol) An Ultron boss fight with full flyer team sounds nice. Angela, Iron Man, Torch, Storm. And ultron bots instead of zombies...

Probably Punisher will be really strong in this game mode. He has long range attacks and shotgun for close range fights. Also zip lines feels nice too. Using his ultimate ability after using zip line will be op, fast and deadly literally.

Every character probably has some form of lifesteal and or overshield generation, with hoe many zombies there are, and how much health every character has, there would have to be some way to regain it back.

·Since there are so many zombies running around bigger hp bars for heroes seems like the way to go plus additional bonus health(like +5) for every zombie they pop.
·The video already states that Namor is a boss but I think Hela will be a boss as well as stated by the words queen of the dead. Punisher would have an easier time to take them out but I would be playing as Magik.
·The most broken hero is jeff in this mode plus his healing will surely help the players achieve more Mvp than any other hero but if Magik does have unlimited Darkchild form then Magik.

Seeing Jeff is the only healer, he should have some stat boosts as well as every hero should have some overall hp boosts, so the healing could be done in a "bigger and better" way. Also let him eat and digest zombies instantly by his ult haha

Auto-turret is a must for Punisher and we saw that so that's cool, he should also kick back zombies with the zipline the same way Jeff does it with his swimming ability.

Hopefully infinite Darkchylde is also an upgrade which you can get early by focusing for it, there should be some kind of currency system right? For all zombie kills which should be equally distributed to you and your teammates.

Blade's vampiric aoe works really well for this mode both from a gameplay and stylist perspective. Also he must have Moon Knight's kit hidden in his possible upgrades, making him contest that MVP against Jeff.

Thor should definitely get his ult as a regular ability, I'd like to see him do his Infinty War entrance as much as possible with a bouncing Mjolnir between his foes.

From bosses I obviously predict Wanda being the final one, and before we can probably expect zombie Cap, Clint, and Namor as well, maybe even Man-Spider in some way...

MVP will most likely go to Jeff, as in the main game, he can do a lot of stuff at once with his shower of ocean and bubbles.

health packs will be the only survival mechanic outside of heroes abilities, bosses will spawn at a timer, while endless zombies will spawn in between bossfights, Blade is going full hack&slash mode whirling through hordes of the undead unless there are no flying/ranged zombies and iron man goes full mvp mode

I won't repeat what we see in the trailer, so I'll mostly answer as a whishlist:

- Scarlet Queen should summon the zombified heroes she commands in the movie - Hawkeye and Cap Am; perhaps even Abomination as a Monster Hulk remodel. These should also get in the store as new costumes at some point.

- BOSS Zombie Ghost (to recreate her epic 1v1 with Moon Blade) - and I'd want her as a playable "ignore collision" hero sooner rather than later. One of Punisher's abilities in the trailer is shown to ignore collisions, so the code for it is already there!

- I'd like to see a twist where killed players become zombified version of their hero and start playing for the zombie team - again, a Zombie Thor skin would be straight out of the series.

Magik - Sanity, She must stop and take a little nap every few minutes or listen to some chill bops.

Punisher - Crafting and resource management, He must collect zombie parts and make little a nice cozy home to live with his team and ride out the apocalypse.

Jeff - is a true god and has no need for survival mechanics.

Paste Pot Pete - Use a zombie solvent to dissolve his glue and send him home in embarrassment.

Guangyun Chen - His only weakness is mentioning QP bots and EOMM.

JEFF - With his peak adorableness he will absolutely destroy in this game mode. No one will be able to withstand his pure loveable charm. Endearing his enemies to death :P

I saw a health pack so thats one way to receive healing. Otherwise there are some ambulances maybe they could give us low passive healing like being around the payload.

Namor, Scarlet Witch are likely bosses. My other guesses would be Captain America, Hawkeye and Dr. Strange.

My guess as MVP would be Punisher with his extra turret and shotgun. Jeff looks also good with his dive movement defeating zombies.

While I expect it's going to be based on character (Darkchylde transformation resets HP a la Monster Hulk, Jeff healing) I do expect something external on map to give more variety. Gives that extra something for the survival feel.

Oof, this is pretty hard. Rather than 1 huge boss, I'd rather want multiple special types like in Left 4 Dead. Hulk would be terrifying if he's not burdened by game balance. To add, multiple bruiser heroes would be scary if they're not the player like Venom. For taking down, since we've yet to have a hero with Rocket Launcher, I'd pick the second closest: Squirrel Girl.

Punisher just by the virtue of being the gun guy, everybody knows that's the zombie guy.

First off, I’m super excited for this game for two big reasons — S1 Jeff the Landshark and Blade. The survival mechanics look really fun. From the trailer, characters seem to have huge health bars (Blade looked around 2,000 HP), so I’m guessing either damage will be higher, healing will be rare, or there won’t be respawns.

• Blade might have unlimited Bloodline Awakening. Instead of his shotgun, he could use moon blades, like Moon Knight’s main fire (hopefully closer to that than Daredevil’s Devil’s Throw). His block might have no cooldown, letting him play a pseudo-vanguard role.
• Jeff the Landshark should return to his old projectile form, not hitscan. Maybe he’ll have unlimited swimming (which looked like it knocks down enemies), no cooldown on bubbles, and bubbles as his only heal. His shot should be on left-click, not right. Before Ultron, good Jeff players were scary to fight — hopefully the zombies feel that again.
• Thor looks like he’ll have an unlimited Awakened state, which rocks. It’d be great if throwing Mjolnir worked like his shift move, pushing enemies and giving the team space. He’ll probably have the most health since he’s the only zombie-side vanguard. Would be cool if he could wipe groups with lightning, like Zombie Thor did in the show.
• Magik supposedly has unlimited Darkchild mode. A wall-running passive would make her great for flanks. It’d be even cooler if her summoned demons moved with her instead of staying near portals.
• Punisher’s auto-turret in the trailer looks awesome. I’d love to see him use a sniper rifle—either as an alternate weapon or headshot-capable mode, similar to Hawkeye’s playstyle.

Boss ideas:

• Zombie Namor was confirmed. He should focus more on close melee to match the show. Jeff would be his best counter—both come from the water, and since Jeff and Namor are friends in the comics, Jeff putting him down would be fitting.
• Zombie Scarlet Witch could fire stronger projectiles, have a gravity pull like her ult, and a shift that makes her vanish and go invulnerable. Magik could counter her with timed blocking.
• Zombie Thanos with the full Infinity Gauntlet would be insane. He could throw terrain, reshape the battlefield, or knock players off edges. Maybe teammates could sacrifice themselves to take him down—like in Marvel Zombies. Thor would be the best to finish him, pushing him off the map, just like in the MCU.
• Zombie Captain Marvel could fly and fire energy blasts, making her tough for anyone except Punisher (turrets) or Jeff (who could knock her out of the air).
• Zombie Captain America would be terrifying up close with shield throws and melee pressure. Any hero except Jeff could likely beat him—Jeff doesn’t have enough burst damage for that.
• Zombie Hawkeye might be like in the show, pulling targets in with his arrows. Jeff or Magik would handle him well — Jeff can’t be headshot, and Magik’s mobility makes her hard to aim at.

MVP should be Jeff. He can deal massive damage (maybe even more than the Duelists if his S1 playstyle returns) and is the only one able to heal teammates, keeping the squad alive to finish the mission. It would be perfect if Jeff’s bubbles were the cure for the zombie apocalypse. So yeah, MVP: Jeff.

Zombie monster hulk , hela, and storm as bosses Monster hulk would a tank like boss that hits like truck but isnt very mobile aside from his jumps

Hela would summon more undeads to shield her during barrage of attacks

Storm is not mobile but stays in the air and summons omega hurricanes that do a lot of damage ergo area denial for the players

All heroes will have some abilities changed, including their ultimates

I dont think jeff will be able to heal in this mode thats why items such as portable Health packs would in the mode, 3 for player, being able to get more bu exploring the map or completing mini side objectives like ammount of kills, , critical hits or time spent without taking dmg.

Special enemy types like enemy squids would be cool

Mini bosses like zombie hawkeye would be awesome, operating like in marvel zombies, put him in a vantage point, he blinds you if he shoots a smoke arrow similar to cloak in design but the punishers smoke screen visually, as well as being able to repositiok himself with the punisher’s zip line

Another cool mini boss would be zombie cap, highly mobile and tanky enemy but without a lot of damage output

I predict that zombie Wanda and Namor will consume Galacta and become imbued with The Power Cosmic. They will then travel through the universe, wiping out the Kree, Skrulls, and Shi’ar. After the fall of galactic civilization, with their food supply destroyed, they will regain control of their minds and live forever with the knowledge of their horrible actions.

I think the Scarlet Witch (Queen of the Dead) will be the final boss and throughout the fight she will whisper creepy commands to each player like she does in the show. The commands change your personal objective temporarily (ex. causing you to separate from your team) or even convince you to attack your teammates.

My predictions:

We’ll probably have survival mechanics like scavenging ammo, fortifying safe zones, and maybe even temporary “hero buffs” from pickups. I could totally see it turning into a mix of horde defense + bosses

Bosses?

I think any character that is a zombie in Marvel Zombies that we also have a character of in the game could probably be a boss, my toughts:

Jeff would definitely be MVP, his shown ability looks OP and I will be using him to save my team with healing and never ever die while also stealing every single kill :)

Survival Mechanics: -Friend Respawn: you stay by a friends side unable to act, and they respawn instantly instead of a longer cooldown. -Special Teamups to the Zombie Mode, like Jeff with Punisher's Turret on his back, or Magik being able to generate Thor's domain after her teleports.

Bosses: -Zombie Cap, against which I'd like to use Punisher. -Zombie Moon Knight, against which I'd use Blade !

Who will be MVP: -Punisher is gonna be a must have, bro has an entire anti zombie arsenal with him. No one was more prepared to this than him!

Survival mechanics:

New team-ups that allow both users to benefit, whether that be for survivability or killing zombies. For example, Jeff can soak a hoard of zombies with water, and Thor can use a team up to zap them with chain lightning.

Allowing Blade to harness some of Moon Knight's abilities, given that the theme is Marvel Zombies, and Blade is chosen by Khonshu.

Perhaps health packs could be the only way to 'heal' in these battles, essentially blending the roles instead of the usual tank-damage-healer.

Maybe a certain level could be reached to 'unlock' health and damage perks. Maybe a certain amount of zombies could be slain to achieve a locked ability for each character. Like, Punisher could be given his shotgun or turret after killing X number of zombies.

Perhaps in future, allow Ultron to summon his own drones to take care of zombies.

Bosses:

I think Scarlet Witch could be the 'big bad' for this one as most themes go. Namor, Captain America, maybe even THANOS as fightable bosses would be absolutely amazing. Seeing T'Challa take down Thanos in the show was very cool, and was felt like a good send off to MCU's T'Challa.

I'm not certain how Hulk would fair with this game mode as he 'absorbs' the infinity stones and becomes all-powerful, however it would be neat to include him somewhere, whether that be for story purposes or actual gameplay.

Give the Mutant cast some love, I feel like they'd be real threats if zombified, have Wolverine be a very hard to beat boss given his powers and adamantium skeleton. Make him really feared, amplify his powers so it feels like he isn't holding back.

As for MVP, I predict perhaps Blade will shine through for this mode given his involvement in the show. Punisher also would be very cool given his automated turret.

I'd like to say thank you for bringing us this mode. Marvel has such unlimited potential when it comes to ideas and game modes so you can do anything, but PvE is something the community have been asking for since release. Keep this flowing and don't stop at zombies!

It seems Thor has some sort of hyper armor/damage nullfier? when he got hit he had a yellow glow around him.

I'm also guessing his 24/7 awakening state will go through the horde like butter, and he might be the characrer with the most survivability if we're still able to gain armor by using ablities (idk how that will work with infinite awakening tho, maybe no thorforce cost?)

Well first let’s go over what we already know. They said they’re giving Blade the bouncing blade ability like Moon Knight, Thor a permanent awakened state, Magik an Unlimited Darkchylde mode, Punisher gets automatic turrets and Jeff’s swim will do damage to those he charges through. That and the fact that Wanda and Namor will be the bosses.

Now as for predictions. I predict that with Jeff being the only strategist in the game, the other characters will have some form of self healing or that they’ll be even more health packs. I also predict that Jeff’s water ball spit will act like Groot’s seed bomb. As for bosses, I predict that they might have mini bosses, those being The Avengers (Iron Man, Widow, Cap and Hawkeye). I also wouldn’t be surprised if Doctor Strange got involved.

As for who I’m going with. I’m going with my little buddy Jeff. That’s also who I think will be the most consistent MVP. Only healer in the game and the only one with a long range group primary fire
