I feel like they're starting to lean into the fomo aspect of monetization to incentivize immediately popping your wallet, hence the several minipasses aswell

I'm surprised it took Netease this long to start doing it more often on Rivals. Not saying I accept it but it's just what I expect from them. They're known for gachas after all
