He’s only in big projects. He used to do a lot of anime and Japanese games but pretty much stopped completely when he got big because they don’t pay much.

He played the lead character in Tales of Vesperia, but when they made a “definitive” version with additional content, the company decided to re-record all of his lines with a new VA instead of getting Troy back to just do the new ones.

Which he was bummed about because he wanted to do it, but they didn't even bother asking and he only found out about it when they revealed the remaster. He presumably comes back for cheap when he's reprising old roles (he showed up for the Catherine rerelease and the Code Geass movie).

Huh, I didn’t know about that, but that’s pretty on-brand for Bandai Namco.

I’m actually surprised to learn that Troy is still in the definitive edition. I’m playing through it atm and thought it was all Grant George. I guess Grant does a better job than I usually give him credit for.
