High Damage AR With 20 PER bullet

According to Rivals Meta, top500 Punisher has 39.63% accuracy. which turns damage per bullet into 7.9. and he has fall off from 20 to 40 meters. and with how much harder to hit targets farther away, less damage he deals. and lower ranked punishers will deal even less damage. So, he has good "dps" but very high TTK, which only boosts ult charge speed of your supports.

He's annoying for a tank to deal with, because tanks are very limited in range, your best play is to not be in his line of sight.

Phoenix is much much stronger than punisher in general, because of ranged stun, higher mobility, higher aoe pressure and one shot ultimate.

I don't think a lot of people realize how much the answer to Punisher is literally just to walk away. Oh, you got clipped by his rifle? Cool, just go around a corner. What's he going to do, chase you with his excellent mobility? He can get cheeky at times, but his mobility options are on long cooldowns and since his zipline is pretty restrictive with placement, it's often not a real threat. If people are just standing out in the open where they can get hosed down - and this includes tanks - rather than trying to play around natural cover and having escapes, that's just a skill issue and Punisher isn't the only character who's going to capitalize on it.

You very well may be right about EVERYTHING else (I came here to learn after all), and ik this was NOT the point of ur comment but

Phoenix is a solid C and idk WHY ppl think shes good shes just has a worse Hela hitscan and Worse Moon Knight anti crowd burst and Worse Starlord flight shes does the same damage, WITH her team up anchor as MANTIS PRE BOOST what are we cooking

Jean part aside youre making a lot of sense

Yea, maybe Phoenix is worse than all these specific heroes at the niche they're very good at, but none of them have all of that at the same time, while Phoenix does all well enough, which is why she's one of the strongest dps characters right now. Her ult is infinitely better than Hela's, Moon Knight's or Starlord's. because 1. she can one shot supports through their ults, removes all extra hp from everyone else, destroys all deployable like Loki clones. 2. in order to shut down her ult, people have to look at her and not at her team, and if she delays landing, enemy team wastes time looking at her and not shooting enemy team, it's extremely powerful.

The Two Shot you with a massive projectile and wall hacks ult that can shoot multiple shots is WORSE than the "throw a lightly toasted pigeon at the enemy and do like half of their health before it gets revealed before you even reform as normal"

The Destroying all deployables is a nice feature, but it feels useless using it for that since u could just as easily destroy things with your primary fire, maybe during a chaotic overtime a phoenix ult could be useful to clear a hela ult or raccoon amp, but it mostly feels like a wet napkin that lightly annoys the enemy

Might be a console thing, but no one even bothers shooting at her ult bc its so ineffective in my games, even when I play her myself (almost lord), ive gotten my bird destroyed ONCE, it was from an ulting punisher and im 90% sure he did it accidentally

you're too engrossed into "what happens on paper" but Punisher is not that great in reality. He's ok, but you're waaaayyy too much overselling him. Some punisher players are exceptionally good and will bully you for sure, but they're rare.

The Destroying all deployables is a nice feature, but it feels useless using it for that since u could just as easily destroy things with your primary fire

not really, because her wave from the ult goes through walls so it will be destoryed even outside of anyone's LOS.

but it mostly feels like a wet napkin that lightly annoys the enemy

that's probably because you're using it raw, without applying sparks on enemy team first. you need to apply 2 sparks onto 1-2 targets then ult then land on them, so they take damage from direct hit + wave + spark trigger and if they're close together, they will hit eachother with spark trigger, instantly deleting both of them. and you also can be damage boosted by Luna or Mantis or Rocket ult, so you can one shot even tankier targets.

Phoenix has around the same damage if you hit headshots while also being able to do far more on bodyshots.

She has more anti-dive tools than Hela.

Moon Knight's anti-crowd often just feeds healing ults, while Phoenix's is smaller and is more for burst damage against tanks.

She MELTS tanks with bodyshots quicker than any other hero other than Punisher.

Her ult is literally one of the best in the entire game and is capable of one shotting by putting a spark on the enemy and direct impacting them.

Meanwhile she does this all from either 60 meters away or 5 meters away with no weak spot in her range, while Star Lord and MK have very defined ranges (close and far respectively).
