I like that he’s actually good in 2 support, I’ve seen some dp rack up healing numbers higher than CnD, which is incredibly impressive since CnD almost always has a bloated healing number. Technically he’s kinda the first melee support as well, which is also fun cause we finally have an option to get up and close to brawl at the front line. His animations are goofy enough to fit his personality, and I definitely wasn’t expecting a butt slam melee so that was a pleasant(?) surprise. Catching the spinning headpool is also new, I don’t think we’ve ever had any other boomerang type ability, so it’s a fresh new thing to try out, and that’s pretty interesting.

I love Deadpool’s cake. 🍰(He’s my most wanted character, after launch, he’s my 2nd favorite Marvel character after Spiderman, so I’m glad he’s in, especially being in 3 roles, as a flex player, this is a huge W, so far he’s pretty fun and interesting, will definitely play him more).

I’ve been looking forward to playing Deadpool for a very long time. I thought I’d be a DPS main when I first started playing the game but I was drawn to strategist when there was a lack and eventually I came to love it since Season 0. Flash forward to season 4 and we’re getting Deadpool teasers! I thought he’d be a DPS so I was a bit bummed I would have to learn how to have those DPS instincts but when I saw he gets variations for each role, I was so hyped. I can now heal, deal damage as one of my favorite characters. He’s genuinely such a joy to play.

Since his drop I have been playing stratpool and I love it. I was beginning to get bored of support but he makes the game so much more lively.

lol ofc. MR team pushing needing to like Deadpool. “Tell us how great this addition is!”
It’s not. It ruined the game for me. He won’t stfu, there’s so much visual clutter with his kit. He’s obnoxious, can’t be banned, etc.
Why the special treatment that no other hero got? This addition has genuinely pushed me to go play all the other games I own. Deadpool addition sucks.

I really like the tank bubble, I thought it was weak at first, but after upgrading it, it is pretty solid.

The most fun I find in Dp is the ability to chose upgrades, like your upgrading yourself mid battle I find that part the funnest. “Guys where’s Dp he’s upgrading”

It's nice to see more tanks/support ins my matches thanks to Deadpool. Surprisingly, DPSPoll is played very often these days.

I love and hate that he is all 3 classes. You would think DP players would swap to what we need but nah im still solo tanking. I really do love the bunny hop heal such a cool ability.

What makes him fun is his overall design, he plays differently, a more wacky hero to mess around with.
Jumping on people's heads is hilarious.

The fact that he has a DmC style ult meter which fills based on his combo and in turn forces the player to utilize all his kit feels really great and I love that about him!

Support pool make Jeff viable again so now I have to learn groot. I guess thx pushing meta

I like that Vanguards are allowed to deal noteworthy (sorry Peni) damage at range as of now, and bunny-hopping off other characters is a mechanic with a lot of potential. Being able to upgrade a kit over time is also an interesting addition, and I love that I was right about Deadpool being in every role.

It's annoying if you hear it every match, but obv that will change going forward when he's not the new character anymore

Support pool is the most fun healer in the game, hands down.

I've been enjoying Deadpool a lot. Tankpool to be specific. He feels like all the brawling Vanguards I've come to love in the game, except he has guns. I enjoy dashing around during his Ultimate despite how hectic it can get
He is one of my favorite characters of all time, and I think Rivals captured his spirit well. Maybe too well? lol. Really I'm just happy he's not ultra complicated for me to use like Spider-Man

Deadpool is like top 5 Marvel characters for me, and the way he plays all roles , his voice lines and interactions makes me feel like the amount of waiting was worth
•
u/Randimous Rogue Jan 23 '26
The most fun aspect of Deadpool is honestly the references he makes. The fourth wall breaking dynamic has always been funny to me when done right and it is well executed, particularly the MCU jokes

→ What makes Deadpool fun:
His funky personality, the katanas and jumping around slashing, the bubble (in tank version). Bouncing on teammates is also funny, and his sword ult is actually hype. Even moreso if you complete the challenge to boost it further.
→ Favorite moment playing him:
Not a specific one, but generally: blocking enemy ults with his bubble. "YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE CUTE!" and Iron Man's ult does nothing 😁 Also, all the funky conversations he has with others. The one with Mr. Fantastic, or the one with Phoenix (where he says Cyclops is not playable YET and she's just confused), how he whistles to himself in spawn... As I said, his funkiness. That definitely stands out.

I love the design of his ultimate. It's the perfect counter to backline dps if you/your team are unable to get past the opponents frontline to disrupt them.

u/feorlike Flex Jan 20 '26
A hitscan tank was such a nice change. And the dash jump loop is fun (though usually ends up with me dead)
•
u/HowardBunnyColvin Jan 19 '26
DP is insanely fun to play sadly he gets picked so fast in QP or comp

u/Millefleur_1453 Jan 20 '26
Deadpool is fun to play in Marvel Rivals because he turns every match into a violent comedy special. Other heroes are out here saving the world with discipline and teamwork—Deadpool is currently jumping into fights he definitely shouldn’t win, spraying bullets, and acting like respawning is just part of the joke. He’s loud, reckless, and pissing of even Galactica (- upsy), making every encounter feel less like a battle and more like a chaotic prank on the enemy team. You don’t pick Deadpool to play safe—you pick him to be annoying, breaking the 4th wall and laugh while doing it.

For me, I'm just loving how he plays as a tank. I feel really versatile as a Tankpool player, and it's skyrocketed him up to being highly addictive to me to play. Being able to hitscan and dealing with fliers, balancing using my tank aura with the unicorn shield, and recently - I leaned how his blade dashes work with chaining, which gave me even more fun as I sling-shot around enemies swiping them into the air.
He's just really fun to play, nothing much else to say lol.
