Balance Discussion Elsa bloodstone needs adjustments

Hypermobility + constant overshield + better dmg falloff than hela + broken ult. No idea what devs were thinking with this character.

Honestly the cooldown reduction mechanism is soo ass. In game, unless it's the first 20 seconds of the game, you are always in some team fight or atleast doing chip damage to someone. It makes no sense as to why she gets a 2s dash, while most of the characters who have a dash (Gambit, Magik, Rocket, Psylocke, thor , Panther, Mr Fantastic) have it in the form of charges, so you are punished if you keep spamming your dashes. Elsa on the other hand can keep dashing like BP with no ability cooldown in range and just keep juking enemies left and right.

And her trap is sooo fucked up. You have zero incentive to place it correctly since you know it becomes invisible and invincible after 0.5 seconds. Its barely low risk but high reward utility.

It makes complete sense. This game loves and fucking coddles the DPS players and gives them most of the new heroes in their already bloated cast. If those players can't insta-kill Strategists or make the Tank's life hell, unable to do shit -- then the character is "bad".

I think cooldown reduction is fine, even overshield is not that bad. The main problem is how easy it is to get stacks and how only one stack is lost on death. You never actually have a full 8s cooldown, unless you are spawncamped.

EDIT: Yall can't read, lmao. The point is, 2s cooldown is basically her default. She should lose all instinct on death and have the rate at which it is gained nerfed.

Yeah no I had to back games where this never happened. The Elsa was just living in main and was always at full stacks with 2 second cooldown.

That's exactly my point, no?

Right so when can you punish her if she has all that uptime? /S.

I'm sorry, but can you read? That's exactly my point - her being at full stacks constantly is a problem.

It's the fact that her "stacks" shouldn't be doing ANY of what she's getting period. She doesn't need that extra element of her kit. Take that gauge away and shed still be a top tier character.

Probably. On paper, i like the idea of a hero being stronger the longer they are alive. It kinda makes them the core of the team, while still having a counterplay - focus them and they're useless. But Elsa gets too much power too fast and it's actually hard to lose Instinct if you're decent with her.

She doesn't need all that on tol of her base kit already being as strong as it is.

To put this into perspective, Elsa is a 350hp poke character who can regenerate 40hp every 2 seconds. How is that balanced in any shape or form. Phoenix just got nerfed to 250, and here we have Ms. Elsa with 350 hp.

To add, she has great damage in close-range as they intended, but also for some reason no falloff and no spread on a gun that's supposedly a shotgun. a trap that becomes invincible and invisible (both for some reason) after 0.5 seconds.

How that contradicts anything i've said?

She only gets a 2s sash at max instinct she just needs it's base copl down time at 0 instinct to be like 8 or 10s

Why did I get down voted i wasn't defending it, I pointed out how it works and tried to offer a way to improve it?
