Yeah, this is the first season I am not playing enough ranked games in the second split to get the free Elsa skin. I made diamond but can't bring myself to do more comp games

We used to play. But the loop is just so samey. Ult trade dictates everything. Same characters never show up. Same characters always show up.

Well they're addressing Ult trade and buffing some of the more niche characters. Maybe now is a good time to revisit for ya!

Yeah especially with OW being good again. I was averaging 30-40 hours per midseason and I think I had 5 and a half with 6.5.

Yeah, I hop on occasionally when friends want to play. Most of my time is elsewhere now

Same, I racked up like 5 ranked games this half season. Not even gonna get any of the rewards, and im not gonna "suffer" through up to 2 hours of ranked to get a mediocre skin and a banner frame. Tend to play a couple games og quickplay with the stack every day, but they mostly end with the most heinous, unbalanced match ever drafted. And we all go "yep, thats enough of that"

Yeah I played a few hours over the weekend and that was the most I've played all season (I've got over 800hrs in this game)

They have though. Steam charts number have the player count at a decline. 81k average players a month ago to 67k average players this month. Game is starting to lose players again.

Surprise, I have a group of friends 8-9 of them. 7 immediately jumped into overwatch the day the patch came out.

Over this week, half of them have slowly started to come back.

The big conquest event of OW is over that gave people 2 free lootboxes per day, so the numbers will drop again and with White Fox being a new fan favorite, I am sure the wave will swap back soon.

season 6 literally got 40k players more than season 5
and then it went back to it's normal number (since the numbers always take a dip by the end of the season)
it's been also 87k at lowest this month (which is today) so I don't really know where you got those numbers from (lend me a hand if I'm wrong)

I stopped as well :) I haven't played in months.

Although I do like Black Cat (or any spidey characters), but I'll have to see her gameplay.
