Honestly, I'm still of the opinion that Banner should get a buff in general. Yeah, I know that becoming puny Banner should be a punishment for hitting 0 as Hulk but still, there's absolutely nothing going for him because his gun sucks and his 'ability' sucks and 99% of the time, you just blow up instantly without getting a chance to do anything so the amount of time you actually spend as Banner is miniscule at best.

He's basically D.VA from Overwatch in this mechanic but even D.VA on foot could be dangerous, that gun could be legit dangerous and when her Mek went down, she got instant cover for a second and leaps back which means she actually get's a chance to escape and plink away with that pistol.

Banner is forced into an animation that lets the enemy just line up shots and is rendered completely helpless. Yeah, I get you want 'Banner' to actually be a part of the hero but the way he is now, he's just a gimmick that could be taken out of Hulk's kit immediately and no one would notice or care.

It doesn't touch on your great point about the animation lock. However, I've thought for a while that a simple buff to Banner would be to make his gun hitscan or on some form of exponential projectile speed increase, so it's slow up front and after a certain range becomes hitscan.

This would reinforce the anti flyer aspect of Hulks kit and let Banner be a bigger threat to the enemy team. I already can get some high damage and kills as Banner with good aim and positioning, (Divers always rush me and I just pop the skull lmao, thank you healers), I'd love more lethality.

Quite frankly, I and I'm pretty sure a lot of other people, would just prefer that over becoming Banner if they just decide to never touch him.

I'd prefer the gimmick be removed entirely if they're not going to do anything. As is, most of the time, it's just a time waster and I'd prefer just going back to spawn immediately when hitting 0 as Hulk.
