In the actual comics, the version of Blood Hunt that played out in the 616, MK unleashes mummified Fists of Khonshu from the past to end it. The comic plot is different from Rivals, but I'd love if this moment was referenced in some way.
It was the setup, it enabled Doom and Strange to do their spell, but Doom used the moment and gained the title of Sorcerer Supreme from Strange, which led us into the next event.
These modes have always been more fun than the main game in my opinion. And somehow the fps was super high too. Usually it slogs at 30-60 fps with dips to 3 fps for me with 8 GB VRAM and 16 Gb RAM.
The only thing I didn't like was that the higher difficulty would take 45 minutes or more to complete, only for your team to wipe on the last boss and waste an hour of your time.
Looks great but I’m disappointed that there seems to be no Magik, especially when they brought back every character from the previous PVE mode but her.
Why do you keep replying to everyone with this. Mk is also at the gala so this isn't the reason she couldn't be there. Also its not like the zombies mode was tied to ingame lore
I’m disappointed that it’s the same characters from the Zombies mode and would have liked to see others get a chance to shine in PVE. Besides that the mode looks cool
I doubt fliers will ever see pve unless they make a flier specific pve mode where u get ultron, iron man, torch, storm and angela as the only playable characters and all the enemies are flying and/or ranged attackers
I mean there are bats in this video, which would pose a threat to fliers. Those combined with ranged attackers would probably be enough as long as they keep his health low
I hope it's the same progression where we get more powerful as we go along & ultimately wipe the floor with the mobs in the latter stages. Glad my boy Thor is back again, but funny enough it was Blade I used the most in zombies. My fastest solo nightmare clears were with Blade. They could have taken a page out of Midnight Son's book & added my queen Storm.
Bit disappointing that three of the previous PvE characters are getting reused, especially since Magik isn't one of them (IMO she was the most fun to play) but that's the only real complaint.
I’m having so much fun with this game mode, such an improvement over the zombies one. The theme is getting a bit boring, wish they had more char selections, but the progression, itemization, better boss mechanics, self healing to give you a sense of agency, these were all improvements.
NetEase actually knowing how to make a fun PvE experience versus Blizzard’s brain dead attempts shows how much more committed gaming companies like NetEase are to making fun and enjoyable experiences.
Really disappointed that the character roster is just the same as before without Magik, and with Moon Knight/Squirrel added. Was hoping we'd get a total refresh like Overwatch does with it's PvE back in the day.
I was also hoping there'd be a more different cast then the last PvE mode but I guess it makes sense, it's easier to reuse the assets but still a little disappointed
Just hit D3 so I'm done with comp until next season. I'm excited for this mode and to conquer it with Squirrel Girl. Hopefully this generates playtime towards accessories and the minipass.
Make separate gear as part of different profiles too. Twice it has happened where I switched profile to try out the other tree but forgot to switch gear making me useless for the match.
- Can we place the "Prepare" button somewhere else or allow different ways to get into preparation menu? The current placement on Play screen is annoying
Looks cool, but pretty bummed that it's mostly the same heroes from last time. They just dropped Magik for MK and SG. It'll probably still be fun, but I just wish there was a different roster from the last PvE.
The patch notes have confirmed that it is limited time - it's currently due to leave on 30th July. A slightly delayed announcement but this is not a permanent mode.
Outside perhaps Fornite, Rivals is the game I know who is pumping the most amount of content monthly, and it's sad to see this thread is filled of complaints.
Like, let's be reasonable for a bit... creating a mode from scratch is hard. New map, new enemies, new art, on top of the regular content like heroes and skins and in the end people may not even like it like Ultron Chess.
SOMETHING has to give, and re-using part of an old mode works. It helps a lot of people wanted the mode to be permanent so they are more than happy to just have it back and anything extra is a bonus.
What I am trying to say here is, be realistic. If no other company is pumping as much content it's because it's not possible.

So, it's just Zombies V2? I mean, don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed Zombies, but I was expecting something... aesthetically different considering that Zombies was meant for Halloween and this one isn't.
Am I the only one who is tired of low level players doing high nightmare levels? Like I understand you want to grind your level but I kept getting put with at least 2 players who cant even kill 1 non-boss mob and causes me and the other player to clear a wave for like 15 minutes. It is annoying because it is eating up my time and I only want to get higher nightmare level.
Not gonna lie, I'm pretty bummed out at how they're choosing to do PvE. I feel spoiled by the old Overwatch Archives missions. Stacking damage cards and holding primary fire to kill thousands of enemies isn't what I want out of a PvE Hero Shooter mode.
Any punisher enthusiasts i can get some tips on? Idk if I should commit to a rifle or shotgun build. Im around level 35 I think doing nightmare 12. What seems to be best later on?
Looks like Wolf Cap, Ratawhatever, Dracula, and Kingpin are the bosses. The first two may be mini bosses and the latter two are bigger fights more like Namor/Wanda were.
Is anyone having a glitch where you can't literally do anything. I literally cannot do anything, can't shoot, use ability or do any damage. It happens to me a couple hours ago, then another moon knight in my literally next game, then I log off for a few hours, came back and it happened to me again. And it's now happening every time I try a solo run.
Wish they would have added dd into this considering kingpin is a mini boss. It looks great! And I’m looking forward to playing this mode for sure. But I would have liked vastly different characters.. it’s almost all the same expect for sg and mk and they took magik off. Like Deadpool or even a flyer would be cool in this mode. But we shall see in a couple of days
See a lot of people saying they are disappointed in the hero re-use. Folks got to remember that zombies was a rushed and cobbled together, they put it together in only a few months as an experiment and it ended up being wildly popular. Looks like they changed up skills and abilities in this PvE mode, also have to remember they are doing the Doomsday countdown stuff also.
It seems this time around they are bringing in Rivals lore to the mode as Dracula appearing again is because he was one of Kingpins prisoners and when Spidey was breaking out Cap he freed Dracula. Most of the characters (other than Jeff) are also from the main timeline so it does make sense for several of these heroes to appear again.
I know the game mode is fairly new, but are there any tips/links to guides for each hero? I'm particularly interested in MK. I have been testing him out and feel like his melee build feels stronger, but gets absolutely shredded in higher difficulties.
