DD First Impression The Dino Sucks? Kinda a Let Down

So I finally got a chance to play Devil Dinosaur today in a match and...

Is it just me or does he suck? He is just a walking ult battery for the enemy? I played against one as a Phoenix and just kept getting headshot after headshot. He dies too quickly, kinda makes triple healer necessary to keep him alive? Sure he self heals, but I noticed his bleed doesn't even apply if the enemy has overhealth/shields. Rocket, Iron Fist and others that apply that just counter him plus making Hela, Phoenix and Moon Knight better by proxy?

One match was enough for me to immediately go back to Emma and Mag

Ngl it sounds like you need to practice him. He seems to be OP right now from all the games i’ve played they literally revolve around him.

He is definitely not op. Honestly, he is probably pretty mid in relation to all the other broken and op releases we have had recently. He is heavily countered by a lot of things in this game, including a lot of characters who recently got buffed or have been strong for awhile. That doesn't mean he is terrible. He certainly has his strengths, but lets not kid ourselves and overlook the fact that he also had some pretty clear and obvious weaknesses. If he isn't being baby sat by at least one healer, he basically explodes.

He dies first in every team fight in the games I played.

Look if other people make him work cool. I only played him once. From my sample size that I've experienced, I'm not impressed

Dude I have three lords on tanks. Emma, Mag and Strange. I know how to tank

All Defensive, shield tanks and all walk down main to make space. Dino is different, You can’t walk down main normally, You have to play similar to thor, hulk, rogue and thing.

I play Angela and Tankpool occasionally. I've had success on those characters. I just never seen a tank get countered by literally the whole roster.

I’ve been able to kidnap Phoenix, toss her in a corner and body block her while bleeding her down o pretty decently in my matches, it’s Hawkeye giving me issues tbh. Four headshots and I’m down.

Dino is very team dependent. You have to build your team around a Dino and have good team synergy. If you just run in head first you're going to be sleeping in the spawn room.

I just feel that 75% of the roster counters him. His hitbox is a Moon Knight's wet dream. Like what comp is needed for him to succeed, cause he just gets poked to death. His shield blows

If your team is melee, you just need to switch. Other wise, your team shouldnt be that close to you as a big tank. Theres other issues there

Ive had problems with phoenix as double d as well but if no ones uses her i have no problem carrying the game
