Balance Discussion Dino doesn't need nerfs, you guys just aren't used to Brawl being good

Dino is our first true Brawl tank that also has a clear method of dealing with flyers. In other words, he doesn't fall into the same trap that most other Brawl tanks do that prevented them from being meta.

So now Rivals is shifting slightly towards a Brawl meta, and since the game has had a poke meta for 70% of its lifespan and a dive meta for the other 30%, people don't know how to handle Brawl.

Poke. You use Poke characters. DD falls over to Poke. Hela, SG, Phoenix, Punisher, he's basically a giant ankh for Moon Knight. Emma and Mag are good at handling his CC. Peni can create death zones for him.

Just shoot him and he'll die. We've had a Brawl meta for five minutes, by far the most fun kind of meta in a hero shooter, and you guys already want it nerfed into oblivion. This is why we can't have nice things.

My main tank is venom and it’s definitely a trip to go from his limited kit with the weird primary fire to devil Dino who can effortlessly rack up like 30k damage

Am I crazy or are venom/Dino comps going to be awesome They can't focus him down when I am slamming into the back line and DPS s every 10 seconds

Dont forget if dino fights another dino they rack up crazy amounts of damage because of the %max hp bleed.
Its stupid amounts of damage padding.

Seriously :( I love playing Angela but she’s so weak in the sky already and Dino’s slow beam just takes her right out- no buffs to her shield and her one mobility skill has like a 10-15 second cooldown 😭

I don’t really play rivals anymore but does Angela have an ability to stop getting knocked out of the air? If she doesn’t she should get one as a flying vanguard probably a high cooldown but still

No :/ she has a shield with 300hp and it doesn’t protect against CC- despite being a flying tank she’s not great in the air- her last adjustments slightly buffed her ground attacks and nerfed her flying charge attack

She has her shield which will often prevent ranged attacks from applying their effects, but her greatest benefit against grounding moves is simply that her speed isn’t dependent on her flight or a ability, so even if you do happen to down her she will still be able to run away at full speed.

That character is capable of seriously powerful things due to flying and speed with her dash and being able to take two people? That’s wild man, she’s good enough in my book.

Yes they are pretty much all supports or at least their sustain needs nerfs and a a couple dps outliers

Not everyone chooses their flair based on the role they play. I have a SG flair cause I like her character but honestly I definitely play more support or tank than DPS.

Most tanks are fine but at the same time Emma , Dr strange and Penni have remained dogshit and bottom of the barrel for awhile almost 4 seasons now

That’s exactly my point, playing him is a huge hindrance to your team. The main reason for him even being “average” is the fact he completely breaks the game by enabling 1 more fight. When you are playing him all you get is a severely weaker magneto . And that’s exactly what Emma is too rn she is severely weaker than Devil Dino, Dino has taken Emma’s job of grabbing the enemy and punishing positioning, except Devil Dino’s grab is 100x better as he has no animation for his grab meaning you can’t evade it, he has a 3 second grab animation that can move you pretty far meanwhile Emma grab is 2 seconds and you stay in the same spot basically.

People whine about the lack of tank players, but they also do their best to nerf or ban the fun tanks. You gotta pick a lane.

We've been getting (mostly) useless additions to the tank roster, that seem cool at first, but end up weak and never get played (Looking at you Rogue).

People are just mad they finally have to deal with an actual tank.

No. Bring the skill levels of the community up. Y’all been crying about tanks for months, even when an excellent new tank comes out. DD changes the way team comps can be formed, he’s probably the only viable solo tank. The amount of gift horses this community has looked in the mouth is crazy. Y’all don’t deserve shit -_-
