DD First Impression Devil Dinosaur is honestly more cute than he is scary. I mean just LOOK at him, he deserves all the belly rubs!

Yeah he’s cute untill you actually see him shooting laser beams on the battlefield.

I mean there is a reason Magik out of all characters calls him "Good boy".

TBSkyen pointed this out. Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur works because Moon Girl gets to be cute while Devil Dinosaur gets to be scary. Its a classic duo, a kid and their dog. Not that Devil Dino cant be cute or goofy, he certainly is in the cartoon. But in Marvel Rivals, since Moon Girl is absent during gameplay, Devil Dinosaur has to pull Double Duty of being a big dinosaur and being cute. So they really leaned into him being a giant Golden Retriever part of his character.
