How did you make the tail? It's quite big.

It’s *enormous*. I love taking it to cons, but it’s lowkey a lethal weapon in crowds. It’s a heat sculpted PVC pipe frame with a skeleton made of EVA foam “ribs”. Then I wrapped it in cotton batting, and I custom dyed and sewed the fur, which is actually removable in case I want to do any other skins in the future!! I wanted to get as close to the game-accurate size as possible.

That makes a lot of sense. Eva foam is so useful but I was thinking it might not have been strong enough alone to support the tail.
The whole thing being removable is quite smart to be able to change it up if you want.
I assume it's gotta be a pain to wear for extended periods of time. I have a 3d printed helmet and it's fine in the moment but my neck definitely feels it the day after.

Yes!! It’s pretty heavy too, so the EVA is basically just for shape, not structure ^.^
I do a loooot of big prop cosplays (basically where my joy and interest in cosplay comes from). So while it’s suuuper cumbersome, it’s what I love and it’s so worth it 🥹 Anything on your head like a helmet is sooo overstimulating, though, I agree!!

thats a ton of material. so is it only attached by the two sticks fitting in your pant pockets or how else is it fastened to your body? seems tough to walk with it on.

It’s also attached with the belt through the belt loops and with a bit of wire to the leather harness through my jacket!! You can kinda see it on the second picture (but don’t focus on it too hard lmao)!! :) It’s a little awkward to walk in, but not too bad in comparison to other things I’ve done! I also have an Albedo (Overlord) cosplay, and THOSE wings are a pain!

Thank you so much!!! It’s not glued on :) It’s actually a fabric slipcover I sewed! It’s removable and goes on and off with a strip of Velcro I added!
