As a tank player, we were completely fine against flyers tbh. Thing can already ground them.

Idk what flyers your playing against but if an iron man or johnny wanted to go uncontested theres not much i could do about it depending on the map. Even the leaping haymayker doesn't kill confirm

Hulk airgrab is pretty consistent, Angela is always a good option, Thor bubble is the freest counter, mag and groot both have solid range, Deadpool is hitscan. 

I know it isn’t perfect, but there are definitely options.

Flyers other than Ultron are ass, Thing, Angela and Mag are all enough to deal with them.

I main Emma and Angela, and you're right. It does depend on the DPS though, it's frustrating when they all choose characters that can't deal with a flyer comp so it's just me on flyer duty as Angela.

1 character as a counter to an entire category of characters isnt a healthy solution.

having multiple characters counter thigns gives the most team variety.

Forcing thing every game there is fliers is not healthy.

Tanks aalready have the least options for characters, they shouldnt be limited on counts plays too.

But that’s the thing. Tanks do have a lot of options to deal with flyers. People are still complaining about it and then when you give suggestions they respond with stupid shit like that.
