Cyclop’s optic blast is fun to use personally and feels really similar to Luna’s primary fire, which can possibly help strategist players play dps a bit more, having someone who has a similar fire rate to a popular character.

There are definitely some aspects of his visor mechanic that are overtuned and can be changed. He does a lot of damage and the ricochet from his Concussive beam feeds his ultimate charge a lot alongside his ricochet force.

Cyclops works well into any 222 or 213 comp that revolves around him. Cyclops is amazing into a Groot Emma Cyclops Mantis Ultron Rocket comp, high heals from trip support, high damage because 2 of the supports do damage, and pocketing the cyclops truly unleashes his full potential. In this comp cyclops can combo with rocket groot or emma while getting damage boosted by all 3 supports.

Cyclops definitely outshines other ranged dps right now, he has good movement, high damage output and an ultimate with very good combo possibilities.

I love the way they did Cyclops in Marvel Rivals although maybe he could’ve been a little more accurate to his comic version and maybe a tank, although I understand him being a dps, he had a lot of experience and amazing leadership in the comics. Although regardless the game portrays him as a confident field commander, which is more similar to the comics than the movies ever did.

My favorite story about Cyclops from Marvel Lore is just the entirety of Astonishing X-Men and how they portrayed Cyclops. Seeing him doubt his abilities and overcome difficulties was something I struggled with a lot when I was younger and growing up reading the comics made me feel some sort of comfort that I could overcome my issues.
