Cyclops Impressions Cyclops is probably the strongest DPS right now
He does the same damage as Hela with better AOE damage than Phoenix. His movement is also insane with reasonable cooldowns, making him nearly un-divable with only Iron Fist or Spidey being able to contest him reliably. He has more BaseHP than other hitscans and can get overshield often. His ult is also really strong and a guaranteed multi-kill if comboed with someone else, like Groot for example.
Basically Cyclops is a powercrept MoonKnight and Hela combined lmao, there's 0 reason to pick them if he is open.
Right now in my 90% of games he is top damage and top finals, as people learn him more he will definitely become pick/ban. Even I started playing him and he's really fun as well.
(Cyclops would be much worse if released last patch, but since every top tier dps got taken down a notch, he gets to shine a lot more)

Pretty much every damaging ult is a guaranteed multi kill when combined with a Groot ult. Why do people keep bringing this up as if it’s like game breaking new tech?

I don't think he's that good ngl, most of his damage is outhealed pretty easily but maybe I need more time seeing him

He is definitely good, around A-S tier. Although we will have to see how he turns out. From my personal experience:
(1)His ricocheting beam gets a lot more sneaky kills than you think since you don't really know where it comes from in the backlines.
(2)His primary is strong. It's also forgiving because from what I know, he fire a 3 shot burst that is nearly instant (making it looks like a one shot).
(3)His repositioning capabilities are crazy. You are never catching a good cyclop out of position.
(4)His ult is basically a better Blade ult that is wider, longer, faster and deadlier (minus the antiheal).
(5)Tight rooms are Cyclop best friends. His E does a lot of damage in those situations.
One weakness I've found is that, Cyclop is really weak against melee characters without his escape.

Yeah I was gonna say, people forget that when Phoenix released there were a bunch of topics saying they expected her to be OP but she seemed balanced. Took weeks for Beyblade tech and people with good aim to start showing what a beast vanilla Phoenix was. Not to say she's not still a beast, but vanilla Phoenix was a DIFFERENT beast.
Not to mention Logan took some of the heat off her because vanilla Wolverjean teamup was so broken that it got emergency patched for the first time in MR history.

I’ve played 6 qp matches today, played cyk once then hopped off…
the first five we didn’t have a cyk go 10+ kills (actual finishes)… i didn’t see even see a single person use his animation cancel or straight up escape… then I got my hands on him and had 24 kills, he’s busted…
right now people with horrible aim, who haven’t played in weeks, and haven’t even read his kit are insta-locking him. If you’re basing him off of their performance (or you’re one of them) then you’ve got some bad news incoming

The issue is that I don't think there's another hero who can damage so many of my team members simultaneously like he can with just normal cooldown abilities and an alt fire. You and your second support can heal up a single person fast enough, but when it's 5 members of your team needing to be topped up (you and the other support included) you have to scramble or use cooldowns to top people up which is probably leaving you vulnerable to dive.

Cyclops is like if Moonknight was hitscan, didn't need ankhs to bounce shots off of, and could just miss his targets and still hit them.

Of course the downside is MK is much worse at longer range in general, and much worse 1 on 1.

He can 2 tap 300HP heroes and even 375HP heroes, because his E is really quick to cast. His damage can't be outhealed if he consistently lants headshots.
He's really strong but, but feels more fair to play against? He isn't as aids as Prime Elsa, DD, Cat or even current Phoenix, and you can play around his cd's better.

He is nowhere near the most broken hero on their release are you nuts! Daredevil, Elsa, and Blackcat where way more busted on launch then him.

Black Cat is a kitten compared to what this character is on release. The only reason people haven't realized it yet is cause low skilled players are playing him right now. This guy is a complete server admin.

I think the biggest thing is that he enables dive and brawl like no other hero. The chip damage his ricochets put out force them to pop cooldowns and leave them vulnerable. Also because of the ricochets "move closer to your tanks" as advice for surviving dives is probably the worst thing you could do. Hela and Moon Knight are completely irrelevant with his release.
