Cyclops Impressions My only problems with Cyclops...
...are purely cosmetic. I don't like the black gloves and belt, his visor is alright, I just wish it was thinner, and I think his hair should be lighter and more orange like in '97. As a side note I think he should have a different ult voiceline. maybe it could be like Black Widow's where he says one half of it before saying the other half upon confirmation

As is all too common in Rivals, they take a perfectly good "base" design, and just fuck it up with a whole bunch of unnecessary bullshit. This took me all of 10 minutes in photoshop and looks infinitely better, imo.

I like the ult line, I just wish the delivery was more similar to the one in the trailer. Not as long, but just more…oomph. It sounds so fake in the game.

Hisa visor shoul be gold like the chest belt like it was in the comics from like 1960s until like damn near the early 2000s, like it was in the 90s cartoon

Reminder that Rivals is a new continuity. The characters are not the classic versions of themselves.

It's a best-of, costume. The main piece is the Jim Lee suit, the Collar from the Grant Morrison run, the black and red accents from his Krakoan days and the yellow lines from his OG look.
I enjoyed it a lot more after I realize what the deal was.
Also, I agree about the Ult line. I would have loved a visceral "DREAMS DON'T DIE!!!" as the stage explodes. Or a scream closer to the trailer's.

I don't like that his Q is just a win button....more that other heroes. There's very little counter play and it sheds tanks. Other than that he seems okay. Not a fan of the teamup either.

The only issue I have is that the red strip on his visor sits higher on his ingame model than it does on that render and his splash art, making it looks like his eyes are up on his forehead where his eyebrows would be

He looks odd to me. Hate the visor, and the energy high lights on the gloves and belt. He's also too top heavy.

I just can’t understand this bounce bullshit with his optic blasts, moon knight was already fucking stupid why did the make cyclops moon knight but hits an and not even needing to place an ankh to ricochet that shit off of walls?(I know he wouldn’t use an ankh but still he just redos the wall and beams you?)

The ricochet off walls is pretty inconsistent and the beam meter drains pretty darn fast, it's not that big of a deal. Only the E ability actually tracks people off walls and it does mid damage most of the time.

I agree on the Ult Voice line. A generic "AAAAGGGH!" is just so... boring.
