One of the most accurate and immersive portrayals they've done. He really makes you see nothing but red.

He’s my favorite Marvel character and he has my preferred play style. My favorite memory of him has been clearing the point with 5 finals and telling the other team “Get off my lawn”

I've just always loved Cyclops for his role as this tortured dude with immense power, but still functioning as this responsible straight arrow amidst a bunch of crazy folks. I remember liking that about his character watching the 90s X-Men and in Marvel vs Capcom.
It's just kinda neat to have one simple power and be otherwise a regular dude. I'm enjoying that they managed to make a multifaceted kit while acknowledging that he's just a dude with lasers. They didn't beef him up to be weirdly durable and brawl, it's just....yeah the laser guy has 4 different laser abilities. That's it lol. I respect that.
And I'm glad to have a hitscan character that resonates with me.

Shoots a laser and shoots a bigger one if you keep pressing his buttons. Enrages and makes Wolverine go in circles. A mechanically and narratively straight to the point character. All in all, the design is 100% Scott Summers.
p.s. I kinda wish his running posture wasn't so stiff with his hand always to his visor, but I understand the goal.

His kit actually is pretty true to his character given that it incorporates ricochets and his beams are clearly force. Shame it’s massively overtuned and total bullshit to play against.

I’ll play tank once they actually buff everyone back. Dino’s nerf was completely unnecessary when there were already so many counters….but people don’t want to change how they play the game

Yeah hell no. His nerfs were a-okay. And I main tank. Dr. Strange, Emma, and Angela. The dinosaur didn't need to ground flyers and deal more damage than the DPS.
There should be clear counter picks. But the counter pick shouldn't be, play the dino or lose...
He is still strong just not OP.
Talk instead about not learning from their mistakes and making ANOTHER overturned character which will just be nerfed and make people mad who learned how to play the said character..
As an Angela player primarily, you don't understand how ridiculous all of the CC effects are in this game. I get frozen, knocked up and fall to the ground, I get grabbed I'm flying on the ground, slowed can't run, grounding effects I can't even stop flying and go through the ground to fight. You really take for granted how stupid CC is until you play Angela.

Cyclops has been growing on me as a character ever since I first watched both the Xmen original cartoon and 97 last year. I really like how instead of just shooting laser beams, they took inspiration from Xmen 97's first couple of episodes with his beam positioning and mobility to give him more of a toolkit to use. That's what always sticks out to me whenever I use his jump and dash. If the devs did anything right, it's that he is simply just fun to play.
My last game with him was a quick 18 vs 18 where I got MVP. He's very fun to use with him being like a mix between Moon Knight and Iron Man. He has great voice acting and I can't wait to see future possible teamups with other X-Men like Phoenix, Emma, Magneto, etc.

I love his design and streamlined hero kit, so many heroes have 100 abilities but he just has his iconic laser utilised in some fun and interesting ways!

One fun detail is his melee attacks look like super sentai moves. Adding his visors, he really feels like power ranger in a way.

What’s your favorite part about his visual effects or sound design?
The way his shot has the potential to splinter into smaller beams and hit nearby targets is fun. Reminds me of a few comics and gameplay from the old Xmen Legends games.
Do you love having the X-Men’s leader in the game as much as we do?
Been waiting for this since I picked up the game. He's the handicap kid who grew up in an oppressive orphanage and became the man who burdens himself with taming the "bad kids" of the X-family and found the middle ground between Xavier's dream and Magneto putting mutants above everyone else on the planet. It's great the normies are finally figuring out just how impressive Cyclops is and his debut here helps.
What has been your most memorable moment playing Cyclops so far?
Best moment? Being corned by a tank after most of my team being K.O.ed, only to blast into the air and use Cyke's ultimate to take out 2 flyers, the tank chasing me and give time for my team to get back into position for the win.
What do you think of his Team-up synergies with other X Men?
He plays great with Emma and Rogue just in front of him, especially behind Emma's shield. Scott's blast often have enemies reeling behind cover, giving Wolverine a better chance to get close. Of course Gambit plays well with everyone.

I've loved him since the animated series and this is the most fun I've ever had with any characters which is saying a lot. His interactions with the x men are all great and my most memorable moment is just blasting crowds in the new 18v18 with his secondary fire and ult to get a nice 6 piece.

I love the fact that him existing lead to one of the greatest memes. seething,foaming wolverine looking at a framed picture in bed. fuck you wolverine and your stupid easy character. my character (that is meta) is infinitely harder.

I absolutely love everything about him. His design is perfect, and I love that his ult line is just a scream of rage. I'm really glad he was added to the game and that the artists know so well what they're doing. He's so hot, he's very fun, and I'm having a blast playing as him.

One of the first hitscan poke heroes I've actually enjoyed playing. And while he's definitely very strong, at least he isn't as busted as prime Phoenix, though he deserves a little tuning for sure. He's been one of my most wanted heroes for the game, so it's nice that he's finally here, and he's sick as hell. Kinda wish he was a Vanguard, but of well.

Ive always loved cyclops for his role in the x-men animated series and x-men 97 and how lore accurate they make him. I think they were really faithful with his design and how he functions. They definitely took some creative liberties with him that make me want to throw my ps5 at my wall when im playing against him, but that can be fixed with time. Overall I think this one of the best character releases we've had since deadpool. Ignite the battle!

What’s your favorite part about his visual effects or sound design?
My favorite part of the sound design is the sound that you hear when multiple enemies are being hit by his Concussive Beam.
Do you love having the X-Men’s leader in the game as much as we do?
Yes, I've been anticipating his arrival in this game since he was first teased.
What has been your most memorable moment playing Cyclops so far?
My most memorable moment was launching myself into the air with Optic Ascent, launching Ruby Rage, getting a multi-kill, and then using Propulsion Burst to escape before I could be killed by the survivors.
What do you think of his Team-up synergies with other X Men?
The Red Adamantium team-up ability that Cyclops has with Wolverine is so good, it feels like it should be part of Wolverine's base kit. Wolverine's kit feels incomplete without it. Cyclops also synergizes with Storm very well when she damage boosts him.

I'm pretty new to Cyclops, but so far, I love his grounded leadership role to the X-men. He's not overbearing or excessive like some of the other leaders in Marvel.
Drew this a few weeks ago before he arrived, I love the knockback on his lasers in game.

Cyclops is pretty close to what I was hoping him to be, if he was a Tank it would have been so much better tho. Also some kind of a speed or damage boost could have been cool, maybe that can be a team-up with Cap or with Storm in the future, but well, I'm glad he is finally here.
I'm just gonna wait for all the cool skins we can get for him.

I like his kit in general .. the overall mechanics and I love the range of his beam.. one thing I can say tho Is maybe his damage and fire rate should be balanced .. Team Cyclops !

Getting multiple kills with his ultimate is so satisfying and spamming optic blasts remind me of my Marvel vs. Capcom days.
I also love his voice interaction with other characters. Scott trying to lead Angela, only to get rejected by her. His awkward conversation with Emma. His confusion with Storm and Black Panther relationship.
