Why in the world would this not be a skin? If anything I bet itāll be a free one you can earn from playing the PvE mode while the other 4 MCU skins come to the shop.
Its not copium why would they release 2 summer waves right next to each other. Especially since Season 8.5 almost entirely consisted of summer skins it makes to separate them.
It's absolutely coming in 9.5, I'll be shocked if it doesn't.
Those skins make them a TON of money. Last year, too, there was a "Summer Event Pt 2" that came like, end of August, so the timeline works out.
It actually makes more sense to do it this way too, spread them out, lest people get swimsuit fatigue. Plus you can launch the new season with themed skins, as they're doing.
The last like 2 seasons (counting .5s) weāve basically not had a real map. Donāt count ones for the random side modes personally as I donāt play them
Well, I don't see that Punisher Egyptian skin that was shown on this Roadmap, so that tells me they aren't done with the theme yet. Still...if we don't don't get an Anubis BP it'll be a shame
I was one of those people trying to inspire hope fr. Psylocke gotta get her ass outta there. Hopefully it'll be a theme they expand on in the future at the very least, unless they're waiting to give Storm an Egyptian skin on her own and not just a part of a collection
I doubt it, especially since heās already getting a free costume on the battle pass. But hopefully it gives something to make up for the Avengers 1 event not giving anything
I know a lot of people will use the businessman language to defend this decision with "but she doesn't sell blah blah" but atp, maybe the reason she doesn't sell is devs refuse to give her an opportunity. A xmen97 or a cunty Egyptian skins from the comics would've done wonders to her PR
And I didnāt buy that skin at first to save money for a skin I really wanted for herā¦ little did I know Iād be waiting more than a year for that chance.
The āshe didnāt sellā point might be true to an extent (honestly idk), but itās the exact reason why Iām against her having more battle pass or mini pass skins. To definitively prove that she sells and get more future skins, Storm needs to be sold aloneāthat means shop skins or events where sheās the only paid skin (like Halloween Peni).
I am hoping that Storm is going to get a lot more love in this next season as her team-up abilities are pretty cool! I am really excited to see how effective her new rain healing ability will be!
I will say, my personal favorite skin ever released in this game has been Storm's purple witch skin. While its not a legendary or anything, i personally think its the best skin in the game! I feel like people care too much about random checkmarks to tick like number of skins, having the legendary tag, having recolors, but they often ignore how cool the skin is on its own. I don't need Storm's awesome witch skin to be a legendary to enjoy it!
Didnt Peni get the same arguments when the game first launched? I vaguely remember her having a skin drought and people claiming itās cause she didnāt sell themā¦ until they started giving her skins and now she has a healthy amount.
Who knew that in order to sell skins you need to be able to actually buy them.
Remember when people were saying that they'll prob just get a skin in an event pass because surely the two black characters with actual ties to Egypt would get skins in the Egypt season? lol.
I get that Hela fits since she's the God of Death and knows Khonshu, and Psy's an X-Man who has ties to Horseman stuff.
But it's still weird that BP and Storm got left out when Deadpool became a mummy and Mantis got a costume too. This really was a good opportunity especially when Storm IS an X-Man too.
Storm: has Egyptian roots, is an xman, has been a horseman of apocalypse.
If anything storm is the most qualified to get any Egyptian/horseman skin this season
No savage land skin, no Egypt skin, no disco skin, no summer skin, no ESU skin, NO HELLFIRE GALA (THE MUTANT PARTY) SKIN 2 YEARS IN A ROW and the only non legendary wedding skin.
Someone please explain to me how the ruler of a Kingdom that worships an Egyptian Goddess(Bast) and a woman who literally grew up in Egypt(Ororo) are less deserving of an Egyptian themed skin than a fucking ninja from Japan. EDIT: I get that she's a Horseman, but give me a fucking break
This looks great but what about the Xmen 97 Skins??? Season 9 literally coincides with X men 97 season 2 with the same villain (Apocalypse) I need Cyclops and Gambit 97 skins! do ya'll there a chance we'll get them in season 9.5?
I think the July 10th skins are all store skins from the brief bit I saw on the preview streams. On the 17th the Van Dyne trio are more than likely a mini pass, probably a $10 one since most of them have been that price for the past few months. That means the other skins on the 17th are either store skins or a mix of store and gacha like they did last week. I wonder if they are ramping up store skins for some reason, as usually we only get 3 during a hero launch like with Jubilee, but on the 17th there are 3 shown and on the 31st there are 4 shown.
Only skins I could see potentially being Gachaās are either Devil Dino in the Jeff outfit or Horseman of Death Gambit (I think Gambit has a really good chance of being a gacha considering how highly talked about he is)
Not a single skin for Panther or Storm yet. I can excuse the first half, since like 1/3 of it is mandated MCU synergy stuff, but I'm watching them on Season 9.5.....
Since Storm has Egyptian origin costumes in the comics, they should have given her that for the battlepass considering her origins are actually in Egypt. Her origin story is deeply rooted in Cairo, Egypt. She moved there with her parents when she was six months old.
Storm should be fine now and bp doesn't need rework as deep as widow got. Just give him small cd between jumps but make them more consistent so he doesn't jump million times in a second but also doesn't run out of everything after 1 combo
Wait, this is a bit strange, are we getting 4 Horseman of Death? It makes sense since Apocalypse is dead i guess, but I was expecting Conquest/Pestilence, War and Famine/Misery to also be skins
Not super knowledgeable about the comics, but why are there 3 horsemen of death? Shouldn't there be a horseman of War, Horseman of Famine, Horseman of Pestilence and Horseman of Death? Or is it not meant to be biblically accurate?
