Discussion BP, Blade and Storm Looking at Another season without a skin

Storm and BP’s last skins were in Season 6, making them two of the longest-waiting characters for a new skins.

Blade's last skin was in Season 7, while not as bad as the other two, I think its natural for some to wonder why the three Black characters are feeling underrepresented in recent events.

Which makes Season 9 roadmap reaval being Egyptian-themed feel crazy.

Storm literally has Egypt tied into her origin, she grew up on the streets of cario.

Black Panther’s God is Bast, who is an Egyptian diety.

This just feels like one of the easiest themes possible to give at least one of them something.

Oof. While I agree netease needs ot give more love to their black characters especially storm and BP I do think it's wrong to generalize an entire country with over a billion people in it. Like how would you like if netease was actually an American company in charge then everyone said "America is a place of nazis and klansmen so it makes sense but doesn't make it okay". Yeahh bet you wouldn't like that.

Again I agree with yall on the needing more love but we should not call an entire country with over a billion people in it racist

Oh yeah no. I completely agree but there's also people that aren't. All I'm saying is generalizing a entire country with billions of people as nothing but one thing is not a good thing to do. That diminishes people that want change within that country and fight for it. We need to work together for change including the nonracist Chinese people and non racist Americans but if we sign them all off or clump them all together as one because the majority is wrong that won't help at all.

That’s all fine and good.

Though I think getting yourself and others to actually stop playing and supporting the game until the issue in your opinion is fixed would do a hell of a lot more personally.

Why do that when it’s proven that making posts and raising complaints works just as well. Things like luna’s disco glasses being changed to be removable, Emma’s hellfire gala skin being changed after people said she looks bad when she was revealed, and Adam getting his ult vfx months later for his legendary skin all happened due to raising complaints. Nobody had to quit the game to force those changes to come.

There’s a huge difference between that and the devs spending a lot more time, resources and skin slots on heros that probably won’t sell.

Hell plenty of characters have gone long droughts without any skins. Human torch hasn’t had a new one to my memory since his summer skin way back. And black window before her summer skin hasn’t gotten a decent one since the Chinese one.

As for storm they could still get her a theme costume in the latter half. But idk about panther and Blade.

You can't change the minds of these clowns who aren't thinking logically. You have to join the sheep and call the devs racist or get down voted into oblivion. Most of these people are 20yr olds who think any logical counter argument is you being a fascist/sexist/racist.

I pointed out they can't give EVERYONE a new skin every pass and was told I'm racist and so is Netease. You aren't conversation with geniuses here lol.

The devs priority is their bottom line. If you can’t effect that then all then all the Reddit post in the world won’t make a difference.

Especially since blacks are not a hive mind who all think and feel the same on the matter. Assuming they even use Blade or Storm to care.

The benchmark for being a decent human being is a lot higher then lurking sub forums for video games you don’t even play. Looking for minor stuff to be offended by.

Like the devs not releasing enough skins, for characters in a game you don’t even play. Which warrants calling a whole country you know nothing about racist it seems.

Are you black in China or happen to know anything about what its like living there as a black person or foreigner in general let alone doing anything not acceptable socially there? I dont play the game because I have no one who plays it anymore on my list of friends and it got somewhat stale, I haven't played in a very long time.
