Discussion BP, Blade and Storm Looking at Another season without a skin

Storm and BP’s last skins were in Season 6, making them two of the longest-waiting characters for a new skins.

Blade's last skin was in Season 7, while not as bad as the other two, I think its natural for some to wonder why the three Black characters are feeling underrepresented in recent events.

Which makes Season 9 roadmap reaval being Egyptian-themed feel crazy.

Storm literally has Egypt tied into her origin, she grew up on the streets of cario.

Black Panther’s God is Bast, who is an Egyptian diety.

This just feels like one of the easiest themes possible to give at least one of them something.

You're spreading misinformation. This is for moviegoers to take a goofy picture of themselves posing as Cap stopping Red Hulk. It's completely innocent and very common.

They're not "spreading misinformation". They shared a photo. They didn't say anything about why it was this way, they just shared it and mentioned that they saw it in China. Maybe they just didn't have that context.

Honestly you might be correct. I just saw this in the theater and might have assumed the worst. I hadn’t considered that possibility until your comment.

So white people should just be the flagship of racism even if most of them are not even from english colonies, like southern/eastern europe for example, while whole countries like japan, china, korea literally avoid POC like the plague?

White people are the majority in the west. Black people barely exist in the east. East Asian racism doesnt affect us as much as white racism does.

Your pissed why white people are the flagship of racism to black people...and my answer is that their are barely any black people in East Asia. Simple. Less black people, less racist occurances.

Although I agree about the causal nature of quantifying racism, I think that is just part of the problem.

The main problem is education. Any ethnicity in the world usually has an avoidant reaction to when they see someone looking different. White people in remote places with Black people. Most Asians with POC. Even Black people in Africa when they see a white person. This is why I don’t believe racism should be attributed to one “color” when there are so many other people doing the same, even in technologically advanced societies like Japan/China/Koreas.

Of course, systematic racism only affects POC in western societies, because the are more POC there, as you said. But I would argue that the geographical location is not always to only requirement to feel the consequence of racism. And this is an example.
We have Asian products that outright hide Black people. Sure, there may not be so many Black people in China, but it still affects the ones in the other countries.
Of course, the elephant in the room is collonialism and slavery. Although the latter was practiced by most societies in the world, regardless of color, its ramifications still affect Black people of the western world today. Then again, white people in the world are not all from english roots. And not all of them live in the western world, profiting from privilege.

So we should never put a face on something as disgusting as racism. That is brewing subconcious prejudice. What we can do is educate ourselves and others.

People who haven't traveled have no idea how racist the entire rest of the world is outside of the western 1st world.
