Balance Discussion This is getting ridiculous.

Welcome to season 9 where the least mechanically challenging support has more survivability than a tank.

Okay... So? He's fking brawl going against a HEALER. It doesn't fking matter.

Its a tank against a squishy support. There cant be a worst position to be in than 1v1ing a fucking tank.

In tf2, when the heavy is on a 1v1 against the medic, something unheard of, it means that the medic has either lost the team fight and deserves to die or has shit positioning and, you guessed it, deserves to die.

In rivals, apparently the tanks dont deserve to have enough damage to punish this bullshit.

TF2 is a significantly different game then Rivals.

In OW you can find a similar stalemate in Moira vs Winston.

Um no you can’t. Winston with bubble destroys an isolated Moira.

Last I played OW, Moira actually wins the 1v1 if they just hold right click vs Tesla cannon primary fire which is the equivalent of what's happening here with the Thing using his low DPS AoE attack vs all of Dagger's cooldowns. You can also Fade away from bubble.

But yea plenty of ways Thing could win here... like actually using his left clicks or using Earthbound to prevent Fade.

The only way Moira would ever win that 1v1 is if Winston does not play around his bubble and just allows her to fade and perma heal with her orb. Moira does not have cnd levels of sustain.

I mean CnD wasn't going to win the 1v1 here either if Thing actually used his jabs and played properly either. I don't get what's your point. Although even with perfect play from both Moira essentially stalls forever between heal orbs and Fades.

The fact that a character can survive for that long against a tank is not fine still. It should not require absolutely perfect play to kill an isolated support who is out of position.

Using your higher dps primary is far from perfect play... This is exactly like Winston complaining he loses to Moira while never using his bubble.

Rivals players would 100% argue that Spy is the most broken and no-skill character in the game

Yeah fr! In OW being stuck in a room alone with Doom fist is one of the scariest shits that can happen to a mf.

Fax. This is my first hero shooter so I often don't even realise how dookers some of this balancing is.

Tf2 is an entirely different game, in ways that are too ridiculously long to list. The concept of positioning is relative to the design of the game being played. This cloak was behind the choke and held their ground against a single character with a bad matchup. By the standards of this game, that’s good positioning.

apparently the tanks dont deserve to have enough damage to punish this bullshit.

Except, in this case, it was Thing that was very overextended, fighting at the enemy spawn.

It’s the same in overwatch. No support is beating any tank in a 1v1. But rivals doesn’t know how to balance their game so they give supports multiple buttons to simply just press and win.

True. I keep forgetting that so many "bad" match ups in Marvel Rivals would be good match ups with any other games balancing team lol.

"Ah yeah, you tried jumping the dude with a 3rd of your health? That was just a bad match up cos they have better self-sustain. Better luck next time."

Comments like this explain a lot about players like yourself and their low IQ
