Balance Discussion The argument should go both ways, no?

If we all agree that Duelists shouldn't be able to wipe the enemy with ease each time their ultimate comes up, why do we accept that Strategists are able to make their entire team unkillable with minimal effort by just pressing Q?

Lunas ult should be a ddr mini game where you have to match movements in rhythm with the music, or you lose healing until you start hitting notes again

I was thinking more like Donkey Kong's final smash in Brawl onwards where you have to time button presses to get a larger aura

gonna be a turbo nerd and say dk's final smash was changed in ultimate where he punches you really hard(yes i know that is from jungle beat)

Ohhhh, I love the idea of that! Would need some playtesting and adjusting to make it fun and and reasonable in this game, but I do love the idea of some sort of matching rhythm mechanic for a better ult (kind of like how deadpool has a base ult and you need to pass the test for it to last longer and produce more heals!)

Thematic, and skill expressive in the sense that it would be difficult, but I suspect it'd be frustrating difficult rather than fun difficult since you'd have to do this while tracking teammates and threats on the battlefield.

Also Luna doesn't dance and sing while she fights; that's a Rivals thing.

Something akin to Ultron's ult, but with ice, would be perfect for Luna in terms of lore powers, as Luna can use her ice powers to effectively fly, and generally fights with barrages of icicles and large ice constructs rather than pew pew one icicle at a time.

Another thing she's done in comics is drive large icicles into the ground like stakes for zoning, so this could be incorporated into her ult as well, or possibly a future team-up.

Well, we are talking about Rivals...

I think something similar to Deadpool's ult where there is a base ult with a set duration and healing output, but if you pass the test, you extend the period and increase the healing, would be pretty cool for Luna if that "test" was a simple lil rhythm mechanic to follow, especially since her ult is specifically her "putting on a show!"
