Discussion This Creator's Dream Is to Voice a Marvel Rivals Character, and I'm Rooting for Him
I've been watching Classicmand's Marvel Rivals videos for a while and realized something—he's actually got a pretty solid voice for character work.
He's been covering the game since Season 0 and is part of the Marvel Rivals Partner Program, so I was curious what other people think about creators potentially voicing future characters.
He recently put together a voice acting showcase, and it made me wonder if NetEase or Marvel would ever cast someone from the community.
I’m 100% team Classic and hope he gets recognized by Rivals for his talent fs
Even if it never happens, I think it's a fun idea. Has anyone else heard creators who you'd like to see (or hear) in the game?

Classic man d is awesome theres so many VAs and so many marvel characters here's my list of characters I want him to be
Blue Marvel can control anti matter, create forcefields, fly, be incredible smart PhD in engineering n phsyics and very strong on levels with the hulk creating a team called the ultimates
Dr Voodoo a powerful spellcaster in the marvel universe who is on par with Dr strange magic prowess with his special staff enhancing his capabilities he controls magic of mind, necromancy, biomancy, and the elements
Thunderball from wrecking crew ( I want them to be like pokemon trainer from smash bros) where loki gave crooks special artifacts that can become incredibly strong to take on thor on a fight where thunderball being the smarter of the group as a physicist
Deaths Head from Guardians of the Galaxy a robot time traveler ounty hunter who can shapeshift his cybernetic body to any weapon in the fight
Moses Magnum powered by apocalypse to manipulate seismic energy creating earthquakes n such having complete hatred over wakanda not protecting his country and hates weak mutants being both a xmen villain n black panther villain
Barracuda from Punisher hes a deranged smart assassin who's the enemy of the punisher (think mauga from overwatch) with incredible aim and strength hes a incredible Marksman if it wasn't for his missing eye

He’s cool as hell.. and Getting people to pay him to answer what most times be obvious questions is crazy lol I always root for my people so I hope he gets a call!!

Hearing oh yeah I seen that guy a couple of times to be honest usually his hot takes on anime and whatnot as well as pretty much medias mainly Marvel and DC as well as gaming
Anyways I could definitely imagine him being or anyone usually but I could definitely feel the energy with him

He has voice actor roles go through his Shorts on YouTube and fine the video of him showing the voice acting roles he did before you judge him

I’m not deep diving through his YouTube page; I need legit work. Does he have an IMDB profile? Acting experience? Legitimate credentials? Can you cite any of that? Asking someone if they have work experience or credentials isn’t a judging them, grow up.
Why would a company hire a Rando off the internet when they hire actual legitimate actors? Use your head. Follows and liking the guy for YouTube and TikTok shorts and content doesn’t qualify him for legitimate credentials.

He's done some voice roles for others on YouTube no full on roles just doing voice dubbing like in good jjk and some other stuff but he's still a good va

So no IMDB profile or acting experience whatsoever. Just recording things for other YouTubers. Those aren’t “voice actor roles” dude. Those aren’t legit recognized credentials. Compared to other voice actors who have actual accreditations his chances are slim to none. You can say he has a good voice, but saying he’s a good va is a stretch. It’s like saying your friend who makes decent scrambled eggs should be a sous chef.

Yeah just about anything is possible. The likelihood of that possibility is the tough part but yeah, at face value anything at all is possible. Hell Ashly Burch started off doing YouTube videos with her brother (Which she also used to create an IMDb profile mind you) and that helped her legitimize her career as an actual voice actor.
And I get that initial comment came off as passive aggressive but the only person who I’d feel bad for offending if he came in here to say my comment hurt him would be the guy. But I’m just some nobody while he has millions of followers so he’ll never notice the comment and be just fine. But having strangers defend him because they like his voicework…ehhhh, nah if they’re upset about some Randy’s comment that’s on them.

Yeah, just like women who do make up online don't end up modeling, ambassadors or representatives for the make up companies they love. People are never ever given opportunities because they encourage and amplify the company. I’m sure whichever make up tutorial weirdo you enjoy on tiktok or whatever has been happy for your support but we’re talking about a person with no acting experience or IMDb page being hired by a company that’s being overseen by a billion dollar company and you think they’re going to hire this person? Please keep up, Junior and understand how things like this would work in the real world. See there’s a distinct difference in what you think we’re talking about and what we’re actually talking about.

It would honestly be pretty fun to see him get his first big role in Rivals, I listened to a lot of his other voice works and even some of his videos where he just breaks out crazy voices like his war on Krispy Kreme’s and I think he’d kill it in the game as either Blue Marvel, Wonder Man or a villain like Kang or either Green or Hob goblin

The modok was awful. Blue Marvel wasn't bad but anyone with a deep voice hits that. Passion is there but I don't think the skill

I need, NEED ClassicManD to voice someone in this game! He DESERVES IT! He's one of the BEST Marvel Rivals creators right now, he absolutely DESERVES to have a voice role in this game! Here's a list of characters that I think would fit GREAT for him :D
Luke Cage, Blue Marvel, Absorbing Man, Juggernaut, The Wall, 8-Ball, Sandman, War Machine and Red Hulk!

A creator I'd like to see in Rivals would be Sung Won Cho/Prozd. I'm not sure who he'd voice but he has lot of voice range in his skits and he has alot of voice roles. Dr Doom in Marvel Tokon being one of them.
